11/28 Trixie AMBG 157 "+3.5" 78 PMBG 102

Yesterday

Once again, not much to report here in SnuggleCity...snuggly kitty, happy appy with Mannie Fuds Dance, etc. It did take 5 tries to get her gelcap down this morning...I just couldn't hit the right spot for some reason. And also for some reason, she didn't hiss at me for screwing up so many times in a row....thank you for your understanding, Trix! We had a lovely PMBG of 107 last night, thanks to her +9 snickysnack. Her pancreas sure appreciated a good snack!

DH and I spent most of yesterday cooking and eating...we stay home for Thanksgiving, but still make way too much food for two people. We love leftovers - we won't have to cook again until Monday !

Today is back to reality for me, though...lucky DH is off until Monday, but in retail, this is our "big" weekend :roll: ! Needless to say, our tiny little bead store can't compete with the Black Friday insanity (nor do we want to), but we do OK. Remember - your local businesses ARE your community - Shop Small, Shop Local!

Try not to eat too many left overs. it is really great to read that all is so well with Trixie, what an amazing story when one thinks of the whole chain of events over the past few months.

Your Thanksgiving sounds awesome. Fun times for the both of you. I so love the leftovers/Best part sometimes!

I wish you and your store a very successful holiday season. For me the best part is seeing, visiting, and buying from small business during the holiday season. Small is so much better. I can so do without the big retailers, such insanity there. :shock: I hope you have a good weekend at TBP.

Yay for the Mannie Fuds Dance and Ms. P staying home on Black Friday! Sorry about the gelcap, but you know the law of averages had to catch up to you eventually! Even Minka spits out her pill once in a while! :roll:

The only bad thing about going to someone else's house for Thanksgiving is no leftovers! We did come home with a small packet, but it is very small - like one lunch. Oh well, right now I don't need the hassle of dealing with the aftermath, anyway!

I hope you are very busy all day and make lots of sales. It will make the time fly by until you can get back to SnuggleCity. What a great place to live!

Amy, Trixie is looking fabulous this evening. I'm glad she is giving you a nice evening after having to work today. I hope you had a good day at the store, but it is hard to compete with the mega stores on a day like this. I always try to shop local -- they usually have the best stuff! Do you have a website for your store?

I can relate about the gelcap nightmare. Simon spit his gelcap out 3x tonight and this morning, I found the gelcap he was supposed to take last night in his cat bed. I think they pocket the thing and while we are not looking, spit it out.
