Thanks for visiting Carla,Angela, and Marilyn. The blue surf surprised me as well. He wasn't super hungry but ate enough. I'll test at +2 or 2.5 to see what he might plan for tonight. I'm trying to get used to my new iPad. It sure is easier to type!

I wonder if this flat blue is the high before the drop?? I hope you got out to enjoy the day, and that your back and your mom are doing okay? Have fun with the new Ipad! We bought one for my mom- and got rid of her computer. At first, she kept forgetting her password and locking herself out, but fnally now she got the hang of it and loves it!

As always Elise, thank you for your post on Tiger's condo yesterday- I was freaking out all day because I suspected that was a pancreatitis attack, but that small dose of Cerenia got rid of the vomiting and nausea- thank you so much for suggesting that I have a supply of it around! I still can't be sure if it was pancreatitis or simply a one time scarf and barf because I didn't take her to the vet. :oops: Do you think I should have taken her into the vet to be tested? The spec fpl? Naturally, she had gone to the vet the day before! :roll:

I went and bought Libby's pumpkin and thanks for the suggestion to freeze the leftovers.

Ruth, I would not have gone to the vet yesterday and would not rush to test. I would have given the cerenia and seen how she did today. If necessary I would give more cerenia for several days if she vomits again or loses her appetite. If it helps it is not necessary to get the fPL. It wouldn't change treatment. I would only go back to the vet if she doesn't improve. I hope the pumpkin helps. How is she today?

My back is a lot better. Thanks for asking. It looks like Max stopped at two blue cycles. Now I'm hoping he stays in the 70-90 range. I'm taking ng my DM to the urologist Friday to check for infection. I got the iPad to have something to do when spending long hours at her house. Now my computer is acting up so I wonder if I should have gotten a MacBook air instead.

Thanks Elise, I was really panicking whether I should have taken her in yesterday, but she did feel better after the cerenia. She is much better today, we're having a little pajama party tonight- I see that you are too! :mrgreen: Surf safely max!

Glad to hear your back is doing better, hopefully it will keep getting better! I can relate to your mom- my mom regularly has UTI's- with the cancer meds, she is immuno-compromised.

I just looked at your ss and saw the 66 Ruth. I hope that's as low as Tiger gets. I just gave Max some hc with the 59.

It's really hard, Ruth. Sometimes I think about just letting him stay in slightly higher numbers but even if I wanted that to happen I can't make it. Max goes too high or else low. The only thing that has gotten a bit easier is that I know when he won't drop again and can sometimes call it a night a little sooner than I should if I can get him to eat a little lc or mc. For example I went to bed about 1 1/2 hours after he had eaten because he ate a little lc and had two surfing numbers. If he hadn't wanted to eat I would have waited 1/2 hour longer. 6:15 came way too early this morning.
