Another night of drama with Max. Thanks for the early morning visit, Amy. After that 56 I fed him some lc+hc and retested in an hour and he was 85. I figured he was done and even thought maybe he actually hadn't been that low and I should have tested twice. He slept on my bed the rest of the night which is unusual for him. Now with the same number this morning I'm not sue what he did the last 4 hours. Hopefully he will surf and not drop today.

Thanks for the visits. Max is going to keep me busy today. I actually got a few hours of sleep while watching tv during the evening last night and woke myself up a good 45 minutes before the tfs alarm went off. :lol:

I got a call at 7:00 that the "new" weekend caregiver for my mom wasn't coming. nailbite_smile :-x My poor sister was panicking and so was I. Fortunately our weekday one will work today and then we will figure out the rest of the weekend. Even though they live close weekday traffic when Max is active makes going back and forth several times hard for me but it will be easier over the weekend. We need to get a reliable system going forward because our night person is going on vacation for a month in February and we need a weekend one. Sorry for my rambling but I'm pretty tired and I think I tweaked my back again. Not too bad but since this is going to be a long weekend I better take some Advil.

Max got 9% at +2 and he ate it but just now was talking a lot so I tested again and he was at 46. I just gave him some hc+karo. Thankfully this time he decided to tell me what was going on.

I hope Max surfs a little higher for you. Hopefully you can get everything sorted out with your mom's caregivers. I'm glad you got today covered. I hope your back isn't too bad.

Thanks Julie and Carla. I feel guilty at times that I'm not doing enough on the mom end. Max just went under the bed so perhaps his BG will come up a bit higher with the fuds since he's not searching for food.

(((((Elise Max))))) Wow, I honestly don't know how you do it night after night! :shock: I am so sorry about your mom's CG situation, that's stress you don't need and I am more worried about your back again! You need to take care of yourself first and foremost- it's hard to help your mom when you aren't 100%! That said, I have all kinds of guilt with my mom, but I am 500 miles away and can't help my sister out much at all I am keeping you and your mom in my prayers, and hoping for good test results Monday! Hopefully Max will have a gentle surf tonigh so you can get some ZZZZZt! Tiger's bouncing from the other night, I've been to lazy to update her ss ohmygod_smile

Hi Ruth. I hope Tiger clears the bounce tonight or actually maybe tomorrow would be better! The Aleve quieted my back. I'll see what happens when it totally wears off. My poor sister is in much worse shape than I am and she lives with my mom. I have guilt with that too.
