Happy Caturday. Healing thoughts and prayers for Minka, Harvey, Sasha, and Cinco; Clyde, and Amy's Dad....and any other ailing beans and kitties. Many prayers, thoughts, and sympathy for Chris.

It's freezing cold and cloudy here this morning. By that, I mean it must be in the 50s. Cold enough that our sweet little Canadian girl went out on the catio for about 5 minutes which caused her to be so invigorated that she and Tobey did mad dashes all around the house. Now she has found a warm condo to sleep on but we are all missing our AZ sun. I think all four of us prefer the 100 degree weather to these chilly days. Gracie is doing well although she had another scarf/barf this morning after her boiled chicken. I've been doing her reverse Heimlich maneuver every day and so I don't know why she has done this because it seemed to be working. She did really scarf down her breffis this morning....and the chicken. But still, regurgitation is not "normal". Just one more thing to obsess about   Tobey is sitting here giving me the very big, sad eyed kitten expression with very woeful meows. I think he wants to watch his video again today. He's addicted

We kept thinking the bounce from the 40 the other night would hit yesterday morning; it did hit yesterday but later in the day so we all slept like babies last night. I predict a slow slide to a potential PJ party tonight. I do not see another margarita in my future

And, Tricia, thank you for the offer of coming to help you drink 500 bottles of wine (oh wait...that's not "exactly" what you said ;-) ) but my partaking of adult beverages is extremely limited these days. ;-) ;-) Although....if you'd like a place to store the wine, we can have a basement here in Tucson ;-)

Gracie and Tobey will be so excited when they discover that today is decorating the tree and house for Christmas day. It takes the entire day....and probably some of tomorrow as well. But it looks so lovely when we are done so just gotta do it! Have a great day!

Hi Marje. I hope the vomiting is not any to be concerned about. Have you tried feeding her on a flat plate to see if it slows down her eating? Just something to try if you haven't already. Hopefully we won't meet up at a pj party tonight but it does look like a possibility. Have a great day.

Hi Marje.

Thanks for thinking of my herd. We will take all the positive vines we can get!

Basements in Tucson are as rare as basements in Northern CA. Something about the caleche in the ground, which makes it like digging through rock. But if you and Mike want to break out the tnt and build a basement, we'd be happy to help stock your wine cellar! ;-)

Sorry to hear about the scarf and barf. I know it makes us worry and wonder what's wrong, but keep in mind that sometimes it is just what it sounds like - someone ate too much too fast! In other words, maybe she's just being a cat!

I hope you will be sharing pictures of Gracie and Tobey helping to decorate the house. I'm sure they will be right in the thick of things. We aren't going to be home for Christmas again, so we just put the wreath on the door and the lights around the house so the neighbors don't think we're grinches. Not as festive, but a lot less work. When we do decorate, I go all out, so it's a two or three day job, both going up and down! So glad I don't have to think about that this year!

Sorry about the scarf and barf this morning- definitely not my favorite way to wake up! ohmygod_smile I hope this was a one time incident, and not something that is on-going! :YMHUG: I have been spreading Tiger's food on a flat plate this week, as suggested by Elise. C'mon down now Gracie- gently!

Hi Marje,
As they say, cats vomit! Hopefully it is just from the thrill of eating all that food. 50 degrees is cold?? Hope you all had a good time decorating the house for the holidays. We took the first step today and bought a tree, but we don't put it up until Xmas Eve. Family tradition (but since we'll be traveling on Xmas Eve we'll put up the tree the day before).

Have a good evening. The kitties are partying.
