12/7 Billie PMPS 312 back on pred

Thanks for the visits yesterday Melanie, Elise, and Carla!! Elise, I laughed at your comment about Billie kissing a stranger :lol: I should have a talk with her about that...I don't think I raised her that way!

Anyway, I think yesterday's reducie will be short lived, because Billie is back on the pred. The 110 mcg Flovent just isn't enough, and her coughing got bad tonight. She had two fits and lots of intermittent coughing. Poor girl :sad: Luckily, I had some leftover pred that was not expired - enough for a dose tonight, and I'll be calling the vet in the AM. I will ask for the 220 inhaler and for more pred to give through the week since the higher Flovent dosage won't kick in right away. Hopefully, the higher strength works!! I really love the Aerokat and the lack of side effects with the inhaled meds. I don't think Billie would say she loves it, but she certainly prefers it over the liquid stuff. Oh well.

Poor Billie. I hope the pred helps and doesn't mess too badly with the BG.

Hopefully the pred will do the trick. Sometimes you just have to weigh out the pros and cons...if the pred helps her breath better, than that is a big pro! I'm sure you know Melissa's Tarragon is also on pred for his asthma. At least you're able to work Billie's insulin dose around the pred. I hope she's breathing easier by now!!
