12/12 Trixie AMBG 179 +"4.5" 140 "+9" 70

Yesterday

Sooooo not liking this trend. I do wonder if the morning numbers are connected to the timing of her testing VS feeding - this +4.5 was barely an hour after a good sized round of Breffis. It is hard for me to get a true "3 hours after eating" test, because I give her mini-meals until I leave or go to sleep. Out of curiosity, I am going to test her before her +9 snack today to see where she's at VS this morning VS pre-dinner. This certainly is not the idea time of year to go back on the juice, but if that's what Ms P wants...I wish it was more cut-n-dried.....

Not much new to report here in SnuggleCity....happy appy, snuggles galore, and we are on a good run with the gelcap. I won't even bother to anti-jinx that last one - I know we will have our hissy-fit gelcap days, too, but I also know we'll get passed them!

My work schedule changed...I'm off today instead of tomorrow. So, I really AM going to get as much Christmas shopping done today as possible. I am tired, but very motivated. So it is time to hit the road. Have a great day, LL!

Enjoy (?) your shopping trip!
It's possible that food influence is driving those numbers. Rusty's AMPS is almost always food-influenced because he eats most of his nighttime food about an hour before we get up. I hope you can get it all straightened out with a couple of extra tests. Could the meds be influencing Trixie's numbers?

I agree, the timing of the food vs. the test could be influencing Trixie's numbers. I hope you get your shopping done today.

...and there ya have it - Trix officially has the craziest pancreas in the world :mrgreen: ! I wish she'd just toss me normal numbers to begin with so we can stop all this testing nonsense. Techinically, this +9+ is about 4 hours after her last breffis. She was thrilled with her +9 snack!

It was a pretty successful trip! I made a big dent in my own shopping, plus picked up a few things my Mom needed for gift-giving, too. I used to enjoy shopping so much more when I was younger...probably because I had more time. I think everything that is left on my list I'm either making, or getting locally. OF course I strayed a bit for myself, too....sometimes I lack in willpower ....

Trixie OTJ - you go girl! Thrilled to see this. Maybe that 179 is just attention seeking and she misses being tested so much :lol: or perhaps she is planning your christmas present - you wouldn't appreciate nice normal numbers as much if she didn't give you a fright first!
