yesterday's condo
Wasn't really planning on running a curve today, but I guess Miss China had other plans!
Good thing I didn't have anything I really had to do today! I have to dash to the store to buy water and I was thinking by +8 or +9 she'd be up some..but instead she's surfing the 60's! China baby...how many times do we have to have this discussion?? I'm just as happy to see 80's! (I'm really not worried about her..this IS China after all...lol)
I am so thankful that DM is really settling into her apartment and her health is stable. I think a lot of the craziness we had for the first 6 months was her realization that her life was never going to be the same again and depression was causing a lot of the health problems......she hasn't seen a doctor since late September! We went from what seemed to be twice a week doctor appointments to none!
The people in her building meet for coffee in the morning, she has lots of friends she's made at the nutrition site for lunch, and then in the afternoon, she has 2-3 people who come to her apartment to play cards. She's finally found a church she enjoys going to and they pick her up in the van on Sunday mornings. What a difference it's made in her to stop sitting in her apartment alone
Well..I guess there's no time like the present to run to the store... I hate having to lug water, but the water in this town is so bad you can't use it for drinking...heck, you can barely use it for showers/baths! (but I am NOT paying for bottled water for bathing!...LOL)
Sending healing vines to those who need them!
