Good morning! We have another bounce this am. from the green numbers yesterday. All I want for Christmas is for her to stop bouncing! well..I can wish right? Im off to work and mom is in charge as usual. Our staff x-mas party is tonight and it starts at 6:45, the time I normally leave to get home in time to tfs. I suppose Im gonna have to leave and go back there to make sure everything gets cleaned up and ready for opening in the morning on Mon. since Im responsible for the dining room where its being held. There is supposedly a volunteer clean up crew amongst the staff, but last year I was the only one left to do it :evil: Its supposed to be for all the hourly staff, and us Directors are in charge of all the details, but Im betting on me being the only one again this year to actually work. I will be glad when its over..bah humbug. :lol: Have a great day everyone!

I'm glad you got to see some nice numbers yesterday, and I hope the bounce is a quick one.

I know how you feel about the Christmas Party. At least ours is during work hours. I have to do all the ordering and buying and setting up for the party, but it goes on all day and people eat and socialize all day long, and we all cover for one another and I swear I am the only one at my desk all day covering for everyone as they make merry :roll: At least I leave before it's done and people who work a later shift than I get to do the clean up.

That ss is still not open :-|

I'm lucky. Just animal care giver at work. I can skip parties and no one notices! That includes Christmas. So last night, instead of making nice with people I don't really know, I had dinner and adult beverages at a friend's house. Ah, the benefit of being "insignificant." Now, I love my job. Great part-time gig for my retirement years. And I love being "inignificant."

Hope your day goes well and some co-workers surprise you by pitching in.

She just surfed yellows today so mom gave a little pokie break to Chi Chi (and mom). Well, turns out I am not going back tonight My Chef came in to get the food ready and said that he would stay later. My supervisor also said she is staying too, and wont leave til everything is set back up for breakfast tomorrow. All my co Directors were arriving with their spouses in tow, all gussied up to the hilt. Me, I just finished another 10 hour shift and looked like it so I slipped out the back Jack..and Im home with my clan..aahhh


Edit: and I have the next 2 days off!!!
