Morning everyone!!!! AMBG 74! Couldn't be more happy, I can't believe Scrabble is doing all this on his own, we are blessed!!! I have to say it is really hard to test him lately. I think he is absolutely done with it, he kept wriggling away from me a little bit ago and I practically had to pin him down to get a test, he was hardly ever like that before!!! He must know that he is feeling good and doesn't want to be tested anymore!!! Other than that, kitties ate a hearty breakfast. I have been feeding Sophisticat Supreme once a day to see if they like it since I will probably switch over to that once all the old label FF is gone. I fed the oceanwhite fish and tuna dinner and they loved it!!!!
Hope all kitties and beans have a great day! SCrabble is excited for the full moon party tonight!! Woo Hoo!!!!

Morning Scrabble and Michelle! I am still in awe of Scrabble that he went into remission so fast. I'm glad the kits like Sophisticat! Maggie prefers it to FF. There is a Sophiscitat Chopped Grill that Maggie likes, too! I have a lot of FF left which I will donate to one of the rescue groups.

You know, I tried some Sophisticat food...and the smell was horrendous and the cats didn't seem fond of the texture. I think it was the Elegant Entree tho--I was having a hard time finding the low-carb flavors at the store. I didn't try the Sophisticat Supreme tho...those are probably better. We've had good success with Friskies, but in a few weeks I think I'm going to take a stab at making some raw...in the long run it'll be the least expensive option, and probably better quality. My boys do like 9-Lives tho, too, which helps reduce some of the cost just a tiny bit. :-D

:RAHCAT :RAHCAT Happy Day four Scrabble!! You are doing a wonderful job!! Yea!!!

I feed the Sophisticat to the civvie, used to feed it to Spot too, but switched to the By Nature Organics. Spot liked both of them. However, I think the By Nature has more calories to it than the Spohisticat, and it's in a bigger can....Spot gained 1/2 lbs. since he began eating the BN. I'm going to have to check out the SC Supreme on J&B's list. I may just switch back.

Happy day 4!

Just as an FYI, once I switched Basil and his civvie sister Rosie to a rotating bunch of flavors of FF, they accept them all! Even flavors they formerly turned their noses up at. Not sure what that means, but they even eat Merrick Cowboy Cookout again which they had apparently OD'd on! LOL!

Happy day 4! I can always tell with Boris when I'm going to have a green pre shot number because he gets all like, naw, I don't feel like getting on the table for a test. Otherwise he is always there waiting for me. :smile:

I'm not around much so what is with all the talk about the Sophisticat food? Have I missed something regarding ff? I wouldn't even know where to get Sophisticat food, not much to choose from at our one grocery store.

Morning all, was just reading Marvie/Tugger's condo and I am a little confused on what day we are supposed to be on? We started Sunday night on the trial and I listed that as the first day? Was I supposed to wait until Monday to officially call it day 1??? Let me know because I want to make sure we are following everything right!
To answer some of the questions about Sophisticat, I am trying the supreme flavors that are below 5% carbs. I have tried the chicken dinner and the oceanwhitefish and tuna and so far they loved them. My kitties are not picky. All the talk about the new label FF scared me a bit and I only will use the old label one's. Once the old labels are gone I am going to switch to the Sophisticat Supreme which is a couple cents cheaper than FF. The only drawback is it is only availiable at Petsmart but we have one right down the street.
Let me know what you guys think about the day we are supposed to be on??

WELL I think I am going to change my days on here back one day to officially make the start of his trial on Monday since that was the first full day. I started the trial in the pm on Sunday. I don't want to jinx anything so I want to make sure we are following this exact!!!!

Michelle, I told Marvie the same thing--we started counting the first full day of no shots because it was just easier for me. Technically we started on a Sunday night too because we couldn't be home for his shot, but I counted Monday as the first day. Pick whatever day you want dear--I don't think that 12 hours will really make much difference. As it is, I had to ask D to push Max's party back a day because without internet at home we wouldn't be able to participate in our own party if it was on Sunday. :lol: Wouldn't that be odd that everyone would be at a party for us but us not be there? :lol:

MINDY, I have been stressing all day thinking oh gosh what day is it? Hahahaha, I am just going to keep it the same. We moved our otj party(anti-jinx) to Sunday May 9 since it is my day off and I will be home to celebrate being Scrabble's proud MoM! I can't believe all these fun parties we will be attending!!! have you got your photo's out yet? I am going to start looking! (anti-jinx!!)
Marvie, Scrabble is being a little s%$t about being tested lately it is funny, he wants no part of it anymore!!!!

Yes Michelle, I turned in photos to D last week. I was hoping to find time to hook up the old computer and find his kitten pics, but I think that'll be a no-go. :sad: With everyone being sick, things at home have gotten off track, and I doubt I'll be able to do it by Friday. BUT, I do still have a few more recent pics to download (if I can remember to bring in the camera tomorrow) to send and add to what D already has. I'm looking forward to seeing what mayhem we'll all be up to in the video--I know the one pic I found of me with the kitties isn't my most flattering as I am pregnant and asleep on the couch. LOL!

Yay! Gotta tell you though it is so hard to test him nowadays. His ears are not bleeding easily like before and he cries when I poke him. I feel so bad. I wonder if it is because I am only poking twice a day now? Oh well, just so happy with his numbers, he is amazing!!!!!! Off to tbp soon, have a good night everyone!!
 
Yea Scrabble! Call it whatever day you want, Michelle! We all know what's what, and the most important thing is that Scrabble knows, too! All the kitties are at the Full Moon party by now, so I'll just wish you a good evening!
