Hi everyone!

With a busy summer nearby and the strict Lantus 12/12 schedule, I am expecting Frank's feed/shoot time to clash with my family's schedule. When we used Vetsulin, I could shoot up to 1- 1/2 hrs off schedule if necessary, which often made an impromptu invite quite easy to deal with. Several times since the switch to Lantus, I have had impromptu plans collide with 8PM, Frank's feed/shoot time.

Paying the DPS or a tip-toe 15 minutes this way then that way both require planning ahead. If my feed/shoot time is 8pm, what about spur of the moment invites to events that begin at 6PM and end at 10PM?...or the movie that starts at 715PM, (that the family goes to and I stay home from.)

I want to take good care of Frank and have my freedom to have fun, too. I may be dreaming of the impossible, but are there any ways of being creative with the Lantus schedule?

My question is this: why did you select the 8pm time? It may be better to have an earlier time.
I used to do 5am/5pm but switched to 6am/6pm as it's more convenient.
You could always consider changing your time.

yes, I agree 6AM is a lot more convenient than 5 AM( I am yawning already, just thinking of being awake at 5AM)!!!
Being able to shoot at 6PM would be great....but that would mean a 930PM bedtime for me..that would be a tough one to pull off here where everyone else is up till 1130PM.
I'm up at 730AM, shoot at the latest 8AM...and then of course, twelve hrs later its 8PM.

I know a time change is an option but I hoping there is something else a bit more convenient.

saw final update no SS. think i can answer question for you about why his PMPS was so high...you have a cat that can drop quick (yeah means you get to join the testacholic's club) so i can see where he could have pulled a green missed number outta his hat on ya leading to that bounce tonight.
don't worry eventually he should learn to stop the bouncing ball routine and flatten out making life easier. hang in there.
