Darn it, back in the pink. We won't be home to get any in betweens today, but we'll get some with the pm round.

Vesta was quite hungry for breakfast this morning. She ate about 1/3 of her breakfast, which is more than she grazed in one sitting all weekend. We had the family over for the Survivor finale last night- she totally loved the attention.

As long as there's food out, Vesta should be fine.

Have you thought about using a timed feeder?

There's one on its way to us from amazon right now :) DH left the house about an hour after me, and left the rest of their am food out for grazing. I'm sure I'll come home to find the civvie kittie gorged herself and upchucked, but we can't NOT leave food out for that long.

Come on down , Vesta. I know Mom's gonna be gone, but no need to stay up that far out of the really low numbers.

Rain in May! :-D I took San Marcos down to SB yesterday, sunshine in the pass all white below. Gorgeous!

Vesta didn't take your advice, Ann... Seems as though she likes being high :) Makes me really upset though. She ate a bit at pmps/shot time, and a tad more at +1. I think it's pretty clear that we need to up her dose. Anyone else's thoughts? I'm going to stay up and get more data tonight, through the +6.

Also, right now we've been using the Solostar pen for her doses, which is fine because it's been a whole unit. We only have backup syringes with 1 unit markings for now, too. I read D and Shadow's syringe accuracy assessment, and it seems the ReliOn with 1/2U markings are the best combo of accuracy and easy of removing air bubbles. Suggestions? Are those the ones you buy at Walmart? Do you need a prescription?

So consistent these last few days! Hits a low 100-something at PM+4. She was quite hungee this hour- I tested while she ate and she didn't even miss a beat! Wish they were all that easy

This bean's gotta headache~~~~ but will still stay up to see how low... we can go...

+6~81. One more test in an hour before bed. Wanna see numbers start to go up. Ate like a fiend this round. maybe the "lots of small meals" is doing good? Wish there wasn't a 250+ swing in ps and nadir though.
