Didn't feel like eating much this morning, but none of the cats did. Must be something "in the air" so to speak.
I did syringe feed him his 1/2 can of Newman's Own plus he ate 4 or 5 whisker lickins. (When his level is pretty good and not in the 400s, I let him eat these naughty treats he loves so much).

Can we maybe help you to find some not naughty treats that Jake will like? I tend to think that giving a diabetic cat a HC treat is like giving an alcohoiic a shot of whiskey with the rationale that it's ok just on occasion.

Well, it's never OK for an alcoholic to have a drink but I do understand your point.
Jake only occasionally gets naughty treats, usually he doesn't anymore - I've been giving them to him the last couple of days when he went so low and he had his ear poked so many more times than usual.
He usually gets freeze dried chicken treats but I also have some holistic treats that he gets sometimes but I'm not sure about the carb level of those (Bench & Field Holistic Treats).
