Don't crash too soon. I would say to get a +4......the 177 could be a food spike,

Too late, its 5;25 Am and I just woke up. I was up at 2:30 AM yesterday to get ready to catch an early train to Wash DC, to make a 9:30 AM appt
I would think it might be a food spike, and also due to the fact that his AM dose yesterday was at 4AM and his PM dose was at 7PM (no food in between, other then his breakfast which he had thrown up) and that he was running out of juice

Jay I took this reply from my post in last nights thread. I think you should seriously consider getting a timed feeder for Frankie. Fifteen hours without food especially when he threw up his breakfast is way too long for a diabetic to go without eating. If you are concerned about him going low during the day then this would be helpful to keep his numbers up with a little less bouncing.

Yes, Miriam is right, get a timed feeder.
I suspect Frankie is going lower in the day. Will you be around this weekend for spot checks? Really need to see what is going on. If this was a few weeks ago I'd say drop the dose by 0.25u but now is different -- would be nice to "see" that green, that I suspect is there.

we got the petsafe autofeeder, five compartment thingamabob and we love it. It helps so much when we need to leave for the day and we use it every night for her. She hears it in the dead of sleep rotating and runs to it like it's her last meal! It wasn't that bad of a price either, got it on amazon and it had free shipping.

Did I miss this morning? As in Fur Shot.

This is absurd. I never had this issue with PZI Vet. These wild swings regardless of missed doses or 12/12 variations. This is nutz

Sure, you could have missed a lot like green numbers in his cycle. As I said before, I suspect you are missing Frankie going green. You could do what was done before and go ahead and drop dose to 1.25u and see if the pink goes away. If it were me I'd wait until the weekend, if that is when you can get some tests in, and see if he is going green. You'd have to pick a day that doesn't look like a bounce day.

I hear about "this didn't happen with PZI" every know and then and each time I think, I'd like to see those PZI numbers -- are they around anywhere?

Hard to tell when a bounce day happens.

This is so frustrating

Not really -- pick a day you have a pink PS, don't bother with that cycle go for the following two cycles.
