Well, we hit a green finally! Maggie had liquipoo last evening, and I think I now know the culprit. It's the Beefeaters Freeze Dried Salmon Treats. I bought them at PetsMart a few days ago and gave her a piece yesterday. Not too long after eating it, she had the liquipoo. Is the sensitive stomach and liquipoo a common thing with sugar kitties? Well, I hope she will be okay. She's sleeping a lot which is what cats do, but it's still a worry.

When I read this quickly... I saw the Beefeaters name and my first thought was OMG, you gave your kitty some gin? Like maybe a martini? HAHAHAHA!!! I have GOT to quit hanging around the bars.

But to answer your question; yes sometimes a different type of snack or food will trigger some liqui-poo. It doesn't always happen, but it's pretty common. I hope it clears quickly for Maggie. When that happens for BigMac occasionally, I give him a teaspoon of plain yogurt (no sugars or flavors). He likes it and for us, it works quickly. Other people use Foriflora. (did I spell that right?)

Good luck.

Hi CD and BigMac. Oh how funny! Well, right now Maggie looks like she's had a beefeaters martini as she's laying on her back with her back legs crossed trying to catch the last bit of sun thru the patio. I do have some Fortiflora, and that seems to help. Yes, that's spelled right. Thanks as I never thought of the yogurt.
