I think it's likely that Casper saw some blue during the morning cycle and what you're seeing is a bounce. When BG drops into ranges that the liver isn't used to, it has a protective response. The liver dumps out stored glucose along with counterregulatory hormones which then shoot BG levels way up. It can take up to 72 hours for this to clear, although some cats will clear the bounce fairly quickly. Not to worry -- it's all part of the process.
