6/25 Sara AMPS~85 PMPS~92

Good evening LL,

WCR Sara doing alright. Heard from my vet yesterday that the urine test came back positeve for bacteria and her white blood count was high. Still waiting for the C&S, maybe tomorrow. :-| I don't see any improvement in the peeing every now and than on the bathroom towel though. So maybe the clavomox isn't the right antibiotic. She's been on it now for 4 days. Should I have started to see improvement in that department by now?


Me and the pets are getting into a routine without DH around. He's in Nairobi for 6 weeks. I'm sure a lot of you know somebody always wants something. Wheather its to go out at 230am or just some good old fashioned attention. We will welcome him back with open arms. :YMHUG:

Hope the infection clears up real soon & Sara feels so much better--Yes we do get dependant on these DH's!!

Off the top of my head, I'd say that I'd expect to see some response if this is the right AB. On the other hand, Krys had Kasha on an AB for a UTI and it seemed like it took forever for Kasha to respond. (Kasha's UTI was diagnosed in April and Kasha is still getting Baytril although her numbers have vastly improved.)

Is it possible for them to get into habits...ie: using the towel in the bathroom even though she is on the mend? I always wonder about that.
Nice numbers for Sara anyway.....that's a good thing.
We are having the fll_moon June Strawberry/Rose full moon party tomorrow night and we hope Sara will be here...Raja will call her later cause she needs to talk to her about their outfits...you know these little girls!

Thanks Roni for your well wishes. My DH does a lot for his animals. I guess I'll just have to get used to the 12 eyes looking to me.

Pat- The only reason I don't think its just habit is because its only damp when she goes. So it makes me think this is just the the inbetween bathroom urges. She never just lets loose up here. Hope that its not just a habit anyway. Sara will be at the party, she would'nt miss it.

Sienne- Thanks, it has only been 4 days and I'll find out if it is the right one soon. Just never had to deal with a UTI before. Her #'s are great anyway.
