Well, Maggie kept talking and talking starting at 1 am or so; I ignored her until 2:30 or so and tested at +9 for a bg of 111. I remember Mocha was doing something similar on another condo. I think our kitties are milking their diabetes illness for all its worth! Maggie never did this before diabetes. But my GA siamese awakened me at the crack of dawn, so I think she has picked up his habit, almost as if taking on his personality. It's sweet except for the sleep deprivation.

She did a vomit spew on the arm of the sofa, so she had an upset stomach from something. She did have some food two hours ago. This is a higher AMPS but still okay on the Alpha Trak. Maybe the upset tummy spiked it?

morning guys! Great start to the day, sorry to hear about the pukus. Hope that maggie feels better soon. And yes, mocha does talk to us all night long, but that is nothing new for her. She has done it since she was a kitten. In fact, we took her back to the vet's when she was a kitten because we thought she was rabid with all the noises she was making. That vet informed us we were in for a long ride. Oh how right he was .....

Blue wanted me to tell you he hopes Maggie's feeling better soon - he's looking forward to seeing her at the next party... Now that he's e-collar free (at least for the moment), he can dance and hop and tango the night away!

Thanks everyone for the get well wishes for Maggie, I think she is feeling better. She's sitting on hew new pink blanket I just bought today when I returned the two container auto feeder. I couldn't get it to work. They had these soft cuddly blankets, two for $5.97. I may return and get two more. She has three sleeping places + my bed.

Well, no more Savory Salmon FF for Maggie. This was kind of a test to see what was causing her to spike! Maggie had some Savory Salmon FF about an hour earlier as she was hungry. I normally don't let her eat two hours before the ear prick, but I had a feeling the Salmon FF was causing a spike. I think something has changed with the new label. Anyone else notice something different. It's back to Sophisticat. I just had a few cans left and thought I'd try one of the FF.

I have heard this, about ff but, my guys have been eating it forever--I just think some cats are more sensitive than others--
Maggie must be one of them..Hope you have continued successful numbers..She is doing great!

Maggie - you can't just let Kasha walk all over you like this! LOL...

Come back down Maggie girl! Back to the numbers it really takes guts to shoot!

Those soft blankets sound really nice. Blue is a sucker for a soft, fuzzy blanket.

Thanks; you guys are too funny. I just came back from the laundry room and read all your responses. Yes, she needs to come down. Tomorrow will be a better day. Maggie says she wants to catch up with Kasha!
