WCR doing great ate all his breffis and is currently hungry again  I am off for a hike again saw on Sunday a purple fringeless orchid just beginning to bloom on this trail so I am off to see it in hopefully full bloom today have never had the honor of seeing this orchid in person. I am big on wildflowers and love to find those orhcids that are rare or hard to find this being one of them so I am like a kid in a candy shop over this flower  Hoping Do Lou does well on his own today since we will be gone until shot time DS is here to check on him

yay - a fellow hiker! Enjoy, and hear you on the flowers. I love wildflowers - exceptional stuff. The orchid sounds wonderful - it always such a treat to find something that is rare, to be able to see it for real. Enjoy!

I am sure Do Lou will be just fine... they always seem to be, even though we worry.

Do Lou looks like he should be safe alone today, have a great hike.

I was surprised at the number of wildflowers we saw in the desert 3 weeks ago. I even found some Mariposa lilies !

There were whole fields of one type of wildflower or another. Lovely.

Enjoy your hike, I should be more of an outdoorsy person myself but I'm a true urban girl. Hope your orchid blooms for you and Do Lou's #'s stay great.

Re: 7/6 Do Lou amps264+2.5 281

I'd love to see a photo of the orchid if you get one. Enjoy your hike and let Do Lou surf the yellows while you're off having fun. Buzz will keep him company, from the looks of things. ;-)

Hi Lisa, I hope that you will find the elusive orchid in bloom and that you will have a lovely day hiking. And Do Lou is cooperating with nice, safe numbers! How great is that!!

Wow - I just looked up what that orchid looks like - we have them all over the woods I hunt for morel mushrooms in here in Bloomington! They are mostly a light lavendar, but you can rarely and occasionally find a deep violet colored one. I never knew they were an orchid! Reading your post makes me want to go backpacking now :-D

Thanks for posting that photo! Very nice!!!

Do Lou is Mr. flat yellow is he???? He's probably saving some action for when you have to go somewhere... any appointments our outings coming up???

If you have a chance Lisa, could you visit frip's condo and comment on your experience with the food change. I've pointed Sylvie to your condo, but she is kinda new and could use your expertise. Of course, I've tried to emphasize that the food change = change in insulin, but I'm sure such a statement can be repeated a few times too!

Com'on Do Lou... no more yellers... com'on down!

hope that the orchid blooms for you soon and we get to see the flowers in full bloom, Lisa.

Ok, I'm going to say this one word that will sum it all up.....patience. Ok, you can hit me now if you want, lol. Sometimes we just don't want to be patient, damn it! I hope the dose crease starts to work soon.
