Hi everyone,
I'm back and could not wait to return and see Maggie. She was so happy to see me and will not let me out of her sight. The flight to Pennsylvania took forever, as there was a five hour delay with my connecting flight due to mechanical problems with the small US Air commuter plane. I did not get to my hotel room until 2 am next day, so thank goodness I had a reservation. The next day I had a 60 mile drive to my Mom's home. The flight returning to SD went very smoothly.

I'll try and update my SS, but some numbers are missing, as there was a bit of a hiccup with my ps and my neighbor, who I did not realize would be spending so much time with Maggie/and or feeding. I think some of her numbers were stress related, as you will see with my notes on the SS. I think this morning's AMPS was excitement and stress with me being back home and wondering if it is permanent. My ps was wonderful as I had expected, but my neighbor originally told me she would come over once or twice over the weekend just to visit Maggie, but she started feeding her which I thought she understood from me that this was being taken care of by my ps. When the ps came and saw food on Maggie's place mat, this threw her off with the testing, as she did not know how much or whether Maggie had eaten and what time. I don't know if this will throw us off with the OTJ Trial as quite a few bg readings are missing. When my neighbor was feeding Maggie, she may have given her some canned foods not lc, so thus some ups and downs and also stress from two people. I'm hoping this evening's bg will be back to normal.

Re: 7/21 Ann & Maggie AMPS 156 - OTJ Trial Day 10 - I'm home!

Welcome back! I was just thinking that it's about time Ann is back - I wanted a Maggie (and Ann) update!

We missed you!

It was a tough week in Lantus Land... but I'm glad you had a good trip (well, except for the flight out!) and you're back home with Maggie... Might not know what's really going on with her till you get back into your routine...

Blue says he missed Mags too!

Hi Krys,
Mags said she missed Blue, too. I will have to go back and read last week's LL. I hope all is well now! Yes, I think it will take Maggie a few days for me to see how Maggie is really doing with her bg. I feel so bad for my ps, as she wanted to do a really good job with Maggie and her bg readings, but my neighbor threw things off for her. Oh well, it's done and Maggie seems to be doing really well since I am home. I have to check your condo and see how your two babies are doing. Take care.

Thanks Amy and Six; I hope so, too! Maggie hasn't lost any weight, so it's a good sign she was eating. PS said she seemed depressed and hid under the bed a couple times, but she's a one person cat with her background as a feral kitty.

Thanks Ronnie and Luna. How is our little Luna? I missed all of you, too!

Oh this is much better. I just tested, and her PMPS is 111. She is back on a normal schedule. My ps was checking her bg during the day which could explain some high numbers. Feeding the hc food when Maggie was only 96 bg also caused a spike. She seems so happy I'm home. I don't think she will let me leave again!

We're doing ok Ann!
We're gonna miss your big day (antijinx) we are going up north cottaging for 5 days,
but I will make sure to stop in your special day (antijinx) when we get back!
Luna and his sis Bast will be with their gramma who is gonna petsit for us. So they better behave right?
