Hi Lisa, Enjoy your coffee and don't worry about the first day on the new insulin. It will probably take a few days to settle in. Do Lou has lots of company on the PINK FLOOR this morning!

Well DH and I went for nice hike today and darn if I did not forget my camera and of course when that happens you see things even though I see deer all the time we saw a Mother and Baby that was so sweet some star lily's blooming that I had never seen before and a HUGE rattlesnake I do mean HUGE took some pics with my phone but I have such a cheap phone I have no idea if they are any good yet. He or she had like 9-10 rattles and the snake was very wide this is the 3rd Timber rattler I have seen but never this big the only time I have seen one this big is in zoos. DH had walked right past it and it rattled at him we were out of striking range but it was almost right in the trail and I said to him Honey you just walked past this HUGE rattlesnake and it had rattled at him and he thought it was just the cicada noise which is very loud in our area now. To top off our hike we got covered the speck ticks for those of you who have never had the pleasure to get covered in like 50 ticks you can hardly see its fun came home had to strip and shower with adams flea and tick and rush to get his shot I just hate ticks

OMG...I am trembling and now itching as I read your post....OMG...stop it! don't EVER go out again!!!
Small ticks...EEEEEUUUUUUUUUUwwwwwww....I hate ticks! How do you know if you got them all?
Are they in the house? OMG...
But, I did have to giggle when DH thought it was cicadas....that was funny....
but EEEUUuuuuwwwww. You should have stripped outside!! :o
Oh...and Do Lou is looking good tonight!

What an exciting day!! I'll bet you were able to forget all about Do Lou's numbers!!! And now he's come down to yellows for you, just to show you that he missed you. Hope you all have a good evening. Those ticks must have been something!!

See you at the party, Do Lou

Well you are just too funny Pat yes I hate them as well but kinda part of summer hiking sometimes but I do try to avoid getting them and taking a shower and soaking good with adams flea and tick gets them pretty much and I wash clothes 2x and spray the car with adams spray and our shoes so yes its a pain the in butt its the first time I have been covered in quite a while since I do try to avoid trails that are really weedy but its that time of year for them here starts around mid July all the way till frost so their time is long (the baby stage I mean) big ticks are as soon as spring thaw but at least you can pick them off this kind is too small for that about as big as a pencil dot

Whoa a rattler! We get Diamondbacks here - more so in Eastern Washington. It never fails - anytime I hike over there I run into one. And they are always on the trail - never off to the side, or out of the way - on the darn trail! And couldn't they be small? noooooooooooooo - always 5 feet long, and huge. Of course the first thing I did was get out the camera and take photos.  have been spared the tick ordeal though...

and pat I just loved your comment! OMG - I'm still laughing.

Better PM cycle for Do Lou! I hope the Lev works out well. Enjoy your evening - an adventure to relive! I love hiking - so many wonderful things to see. Best was a herd of mountain goats - maybe 12 of them - that came to sit with me. One experience I won't forget. That got video!
