Re: 8/5 Podo AMPS 307

She's acting fine, just a high morning. I gave her some extra canned tuna late last night/early this am. She's been extra hungry lately, so I'm going to try grabbing a couple 3oz cans of FF when I go shopping today. Then I will have a little extra food to give her on her extra hungry days.

WOw on the amps! Better on the +6. I think it's the same carbs in the air that Mannie has been sniffin' !

Hey Podo - what's up? You got a stash of contraband somewhere?

July 4, so it has been more than 28 days. But, the vial isn't cloudy at all. Does it always go cloudy when it goes bad?

Sorry, got distracted. No not always visible signs. And not always consistently off, it can be erratic. On the other hand, she only seem to have high numbers for a cycle. Your call, it eliminates one variable.

There may be "floaties" little crystals int he insulin if it's going bad. However, before pitching the vial, I would try raising the dose. Sometimes, it's a matter of the cat needing more insulin vs. the insulin getting toasty.

If she didn't still have that sore on her lip, then I'd blame the vial completely. But, maybe she just needs a little extra boost while she fights off what is hopefully just an allergic reaction to somewhere she slept.

Certainly a possibility that Podo needs a bit of help if she's fighting something off. See how this morning's numbers look. Last night may have just been a blip.
