Yesterday

Good morning all!

Well, I like this AMPS a lot more than yesterday's! I stuck with the 2.0 dose - I'll be gone all day and won't be back until her PM shot, so I thought that would be a safe thing to do. Emma is a happy kitty this morning - purring and playing with me in bed before we got up, and she gobbled up a good first portion of breakfast while I gave her the shot. I left plenty of food out, so she should be fine til I get home.

I took today off from work and am heading to a water park with one of my girlfriends and her 3 kids. I' m excited! I've never been to a water park, and it's always fun to hang out with the kiddos. They're old enough to joke around with, but not so old that they think it's uncool to hang out with Miss Kristen. :smile: In the meantime, I'm waiting for my parents to show up to drop off their dog. They're off on their own fun weekend adventure to Maine. Emma likes their dog too, so we don't mind having her around. It does get a little crazy with 3 big dogs in my little house, but they all have fun together, so I don't mind...for a little while anyway ;-)

On another note, I meant to write that I was on amazon.com last night, and they had the one touch strips on sale for $20.99 for 50 strips. I apparently bought the one box they had left at that price, but I checked after I purchased it, and the price only went up to $21.49. This morning I looked and it's $22.50. Still a great price for them!

Oh what fun! sounds great , and better than my day - which is vet day for all. Enjoy the time at the water park!

Hi Kristen & Emma, Sounds like a great day will be had by all! Do you plan on going on any of the rides??? Emma's amps is really good this morning. Keep up the good work. Stu enjoyed seeing Emma at the party last night.

Hi everyone!

Well, it was a fun day at the water park! I went on all the rides the kids wanted to go on. I had never been there before, so it was a good time!

Emma survived while I was gone...I left her quite a bit of food, and it was all gone when I arrived home. By the lack of hunger when I gave her shot, I would guess she was eating right up until I got home. We'll see how tonight goes!
