Good Morn-
While being back is not what I want to see- it is so great to be back with such a supportive group.

Pedro had a wonderful time at Shadow's party last night- he even sprouted a hint of green! It's for sure no one slept at Pat's last night. Good thing my home computer was on the fritz or I would have had the Brownie munchies. I wonder if anyone did make some?

His yesterday recap (sorry i didn't post last night as my home computer was just being wierd. May have to do something about it)
PMPS:124 (yea), +3 107, + 5.5 99

He didn't get up this rainy morning so he got his full meds and shot in bed. Finally got him up to eat.
Just want to let everyone know that although he is getting all these meds for pancreatitis and he has Cushing's- he is a happy boy. Just hope tp get the %#+$# pancreatitis under control so we can back him off of some of the drugs. Most P's are usually in place (he is too cool to play).

Sienne - thanks for the research. You are a the FDMB "google". I have spent a lot of time researching the food issue and there are some very good articles out there - including the one you noted and one on a panel discussion sponsered by IDEXX (they do the fPL test). All indicate that fat is not really being seen as a major culprit and ECID. The IM vet doesn't buy it and I decided to not have the fight with her. I am going to continue with her for the Cushings treatment and followup ACTH testing every 4 months but am going back to my regular vet for everything else. If/when we can get the pancreatitis back down I will try to do a diet change.

I will definetly post to Health - thanks for the suggetion. I have really been looking to find a low fat, low carb, good quality canned diet and haven't found one yet. Using J&B's tables.

Ah Sienne and you are a mind reader too.

Dr. Lisa consult. Been very much in my thoughts. Waiting to get my next set of Bloodwork results back and see where we stand. Figured the more updated info I have the better.

Hi Amy and Pedro....it is good to see you but I wish you did not have to have a condo here.
It is good to hear that Pedro is happy despite all he is going through. cat_pet_icon

Nice to see green last night Pedro. Did you do it just to make Raja happy?

Good luck on the food, if you fin that ideal canned food let us all know. Is there a reason you don't try raw?

We have done raw and he is not wild about it. May do lightly steamed as he prefers that. But that is back as a possibility --if I can even try to get him to eat some mixed in with canned.
As suggested, I've posted on "Health" too and have been getting some really helpful suggestions.

I've been using the Feline Futures supplement powder to make Tess's raw. Sienne and Pat use it too. If he will eat plain raw chicken, or even steamed. That will give him the extra nutrients missing in just the meat. Tried the Wild Kitty, Tess didn't go for that.

Hoping to get bloodwork results tonight if not- than tomorrow.
I will apologize in advance - probably won't be able to post with PM numbers due to home computer issue.

Hope all have a good night's rest.

Nice numbers for Pedo....I was so happy to see the green for the Full Green Corn Moon Party...and of course, RAJA was excited too. She missed Pedro at the Falls and she wants to do all the wishing she can to help him get back there! Hope you have a good night Amy....sorry about the computer. The brownies would have been great...Miriam mentioned them and that's all I could think about after!!
