What a night!! I think I remember waking up at +8, looked at Lightning sleeping, and then went into my bed (from the couch). And then I woke up at 6am to start all over again. So last night is kind of a blur but I'm assuming since he was going up that he kept going up. Wish I would've done the +8 test but I guess I was just really out of it!

His AMPS today isn't too bad either so that's good. Did my normal routine of 3% food and will continue throughout the day unless his numbers show otherwise. His ears took a beating last night so I'll wait til +2 or +3 for my next test.

Thank god its Friday! I don't know if I could go another day without some good sleep and have to pretend to work during the day!

Good job last night...in the wee hours of the morning too! You did such a great job all by yourself...was reading yesterday's post earlier today. Believe me, I know that foggy feeling of waking up on the couch and heading to bed. I usually bounce off the hall walls myself while doing so....and in the morning, I look back at the SS and second guess myself for not doing this or that too.
He was rising last night so that is a good thing...not to worry about no +8 test.
I am SURE that if he was going lower, you would have been shocked into staying awake for as long as needed.

So, you did great! :mrgreen:
A bounce is usually what follows the lows, so if this is it, that's wonderful. If he goes higher, well, you will know the reason.

Thanks Michelle and Pat!! It was quite a night and I'm just thankful the food worked and 61 was the lowest we saw! It's weird how he's only going really low like this in the PM....we haven't had a green sighting in the AM for over 2 weeks! OH well, at least I know I'm always here in the PM to take care of him, AM can be hit or miss whether I have to go into work. So if you are reading this Lightning, stick with the PM low greens ok? :mrgreen:

I think I'm starting to accept the bounce....even though I DON'T like it by any means, but at least I don't freak out with the high yellow or pinks after he's given me green. Baby steps....

And there it is....going in the wrong direction already. Hopefully he doesn't break the pinks before PMPS but I'm not gonna hold my breath....

Pamela...I have found that emotional responses to Shadow's numbers only wears me out completely...it's hard to not be emotionally attached to them though... <sigh> It's a roller coaster ride!

Did you know that many kitties have their lowest numbers during the PM cycle? It's a weird thing, but true.
Good thing that you are such a good Mama and can be up for the pajama parties! :mrgreen:

I had no idea that most kitties have PM greens....that definitely makes me feel better. I like being "normal" in that regard!
