+2 is in about 15 minutes. He'll probably be blue, but hopefully come back to green later.
I'm not usually up this early, since I'm on vacation.
He ate his first breakfast at AMPS and had a little more at +1.

Wow, Dyana, JD is looking good this morning! Vacation is certainly agreeing with him!

I was a little confused on what day it was too, today. And most of the clocks at my parents house (and there are about 3 in each room) have a different time on it. Guess time doesn't matter so much, when you're retired

J.D. just spent the last hour outside enjoying the cool air with me. We walked around the house and J.D. stopped at each door and hoped (because he doesn't know that "Meow" means "let me in") that someone would open the door for him. Because he'd rather be under the bed for the day  He's had 4 mini meals so far this morning. Oh, and some pieced of steak that I saved for him from the other night's barbeque.

Traveling is not his favorite things I guess....glad he is there with you anyway. Has your weekend guest arrived yet? Ginger is with the gang at the beach again....some are surfing and some are just swimming...but ALL are giggling and carrying on. They are having a great Labor Day weekend at the shore and why not?:
The boys burned their bathing suits last night in the BONfire...but the girls did not...naturally! Silly boys. They said they were tired of the Bean clothes. I think Shadow did his primal roar too and everyone was having so much fun. They did their best to cheer each other up ~ trying to enjoy their time now...their friendship and their health...they are so wonderful, aren't they?
Ginger keeps saying how she wishes that J.D.could be there too. She said that maybe he will enjoy the Beach Parties when he gets back home...she wants to share HER friends with him.

Thanks Pat :-D for including my little girl (young lady) in your festivities. I'm sure she misses J.D. Happy and sad tears.

J.D. slowly went up all day. I wasn't going to give him any R at PMPS, but I figured if it brings him down a little tonight that would be good, as the guest-J.D.-hates will be here tomorrow around noon.

The Story: As best I remember. While I was packing my apartment into my U-Haul to leave California 15 years and 1 month ago, J.D. was 9 months old and my super loving and affectionate orange cat Buddy (GA) was about 10 or 12 years old, were being kept at my friend Ted's house. When I went to Ted's house at the end of the day, Buddy was no where to be found. I was at first told "I don't know what happened" and we searched all over the neighborhood. Around 10:00pm, that evening, when it was down to just me doing the searching, I found him hiding in some bushes out front of the house about 1 or 2 houses down from Ted's house (not far, at all). Later, if I remember right, I found out that Buddy was meowing or wailing or crying or something, and Ted got all mad and let him out of his carrier? or something. Now, Ted, does love animals, more than people, and has always had cats and dogs, and seems very (almost extremely) animal orientated, so it is hard to believe this. But, to this day, J.D. remembers, and he hates Ted. A couple of years ago, on my annual vacation to California, I took J.D. with me to Ted's house (a new and different house, but still Ted was living in it) and we spent the night in the spare room. J.D. was mortified, and would not come out from under the bed and would not eat a morsel, while we were there. Now, I insist that Ted comes to my Dad's house to visit, rather than me go to see him (they live about 2 1/2 hours apart), as at least J.D. feels more comfortable here. So, the-hated-guest will be here from noon tomorrow through Sunday night. That's my story, the best I remember..and that ain't too much.

nice day for J.D.

It's interesting that he remembers Ted from that long ago. Still, I'm sure J.D. will survive, and you'll be happy to see your friend.

Guess it will be under the bed for sure for J.D....oh well, at least you are not at Ted's house again.
Hope it goes well though. It will be interesting to see what J.D. does this time. (although it might still be the same between them...)

I'm impressed that J.D. didn't pee under the bed to let Ted know exactly how he felt!
 maybe he did, at Ted's house

The +2.5 with R only tells me I stopped him from going higher.
It was hard to tell how much I was giving him because the zero line was at the very tippy top of the syringe and usually there's more space between the top and the zero line.
