9/10/10 Curry AMPS 119, +1-156 +2-121 +3-65

So I decided to get new insulin..pens..the old one didn't look bad....it had been a little over a month since we started the first vial of insulin.....had wondered if it might be losing its potency.....or if it would in the near future and didn't want to risk losing any momentum here. Plus every time we would get low numbers at pre-shot she would increase her BG rather than decrease.

So this morning is the first time she was fairly low (for her) at pre-shot (119) and her numbers actually decreased to a nice number. Before her BG would go in the opposite direction or decrease slightly.

I'm home this morning packing....Curry of course is helping me.....perhaps she is more active which is helping her numbers decrease.

I'm also able to give her food over a period of time rather than trying to cram it down her before I leave for work. She won't eat food that is left out for her.

So we are off to a good start today.

I think being more active is helping plus they love it when we're home. Happy=healthy I say.
