Morning everybody. Another yellow start to the day. Hopefully she'll see blue or green today. I think she will.

WCR- She ate a pretty good breakfast , has had he morning bath and now is just resting. Her usual way to start a day. We're expecting rain again today and the grass is wet from the rain last night so she won't be going outside today to do her tour of the backyard.

The battle plan to fatten her up is to offer her food every couple of hours during the day. I'm also going to go food shopping later today or tomorrow and see if I can find some kind of new wet food that she'll fall in love with. This weight loss issue really surprised me. I thought she's been eating really well but I guess the chemo and fighting the cancer must burn a lot of calories. She certainly hasn't been vomiting or having diarrhea. We'll just have to work on increasing her intake.

Today is my first day of 2 weeks off. Two weeks of sleeping in my bed at night and being up during the day like a normal person. Heavenly.

Hae a good day everybody.

Happy first day off ! that is all good...that she is not getting diarrhea or vomiting...now if you can just find something wonderful that she will fall in love with....(and stay in love with..)
Kitties and their food issues, right?
The freeze-dried flakes might entice her to eat more although they won't put any weight on...you said she likes the bonito flakes? Have you tried chicken? My two like the pure bites~~I am waiting for another order to arrive.... http://www.entirelypets.com/purebiteschicken.html

Have you tried any of the Wellness with Tori? I know they are a little higher in fat which can be a problem for kitties with cp although I have not found them to be a problem for Talbot. He eats the Wellness Turkey and Chicken it has not caused any cp flares.

Xena loves the Whole Life freeze dried chicken. I am able to buy a 4 oz bag for about $16.00. Maybe some sprinkled on her food?

Hope you get some sun so she can enjoy the backyard. We have rain here too, otherwise Talbot would be standing at the door yelling to get out and eat his blade of grass. :-D

Hey Barb, 2 weeks of vacation! Enjoy every minute! Hope you will be successful in finding some nice, new wet food for Tori.
Have a great weekend,

Ella & Stu
