I didn't get any more middle of the night tests because I'm not feeling all that great. I think I'm coming down with something, and feel like sleeping all day, but I have the new furnace and air condioning being installed in an hour, so I'll have men in and out of the house all day. They'll be here in an hour. This will be fun. Not! Hopefully, the cats won't be too stressed.

I did just catch Ginger drinking from the water fountain. It's so unusual to see them drinking, and then J.D. was waiting behind her to finish, and gave up and I had both cats drinking from the fountain at one time. What a picture.

Very nice AMPS this morning for your boy!

I don't know about your old furnace, but I had mine replaced a few years ago, and the difference is unbelievable. I hardly hear the new one at all, and it's so great to not have to worry about whether or not it'll make it through the winter!

sorry to hear you are not feeling well! This amps J.D. gave out sure is a nice looking one! Hope the furnace install goes quickly and you can get some much needed rest, have a great monday!

Hope the animals don't get stressed, I know mine hate strangers in the house.

I attemped to feed him his 2nd breakfast. I don't know if he ate it or not. He didn't when I gave it to him in the kitchen. He is now locked in the bedroom with his sister. J.D. not only hate strangers, but 99.9999% of humans. Lots of noise so far. Furniture moved all over the place, etc. I asked them to be done by 5:00pm, so they got here at 7:45am this morning. We'll see. I'll just try to be my mellow flower child California girl self, and maybe they won't feel the stress as much.

I think the men may be half way through. It's freezing in here, where the doors are opened and closed constantly, but warm in the bedroom where the kitties are locked up. J.D. has gone for 2 walks outside, the first one we got all wet when it started raining. He really wants to come out of the bedroom, but the workmen want me to keep them contained.

I hope the work gets finished soon. JD does't trust them and wants to keep an eye on them.

Woo Hoo! Looks to me like he deserves TWO shrimp! Hope the workmen finsh quickly and you feel better soon.

More shrimps for J.D. He deserves special treats 'cause he got rained on, there are strangers milling about who make noise, and, cause he's green!!

J.D. did get two shrimp, and the workmen just left. All is well.
Except Ginger is screaming her oh so mournful cries and jumping at the front door knob to be let outside :roll: Silly Girl it's still raining. J.D. is just waiting for more shrimp.

really good numbers out of J.D. - guess the workmen didn't scare him too bad. I've got mine locked up on the bedroom too, they really hate it don't they?

Hope you feel better soon. a toasty warm house is bound to help.

Okay, he's getting 1 more shrimp and then I'm out-a-here. One of the workmen told me his cat gets 7 shrimp for breakfast every morning. He said he buys like 4 big bags at Costco and people ask him if he likes shrimp and he answers them that it's for his cat.
I said "don't you worry about the mercury or something in the shrimp"? Should I worry about the mercury J.D. is consuming with these shrimp?

Little girl, born 23rd sept. Gwendoline. 7lbs 5ozs.

Had to make a grand entrance so a blue light job to local hospital (instead ofthe one we were supposed to go to :roll: )
Quick labour with some help required. That was the easy bit!
Both ill for various reasons after that, but now both home and starting to get there.
She's beautiful-but then I'm bound to say that! :mrgreen:

As for the shrimp, think you just need to be mindful of amounts. It's hard to say how much potential mercury there is because it increases as you go up the foodchain.
Hope the workmen worked their magic. :mrgreen:

J.D. had a nice big 2nd dinner, in that he ate his, and then ate Ginger's because she wasn't hungry.
It's off to bed for us. Hoping he plays nice, tonight.
 
Awww, sorry you are not feeling up to par today, Dyana...not feeling well and then having to deal with workmen coming and going, clicking and clanging, just doesn't sound fair. But I see that it really didn't hurt JD to much...nice numbers, nice surfing. He is such a lucky lil man to get so many frimps! As far as the mercury in the frimps, well, I think frimp here and there isn't bad, but i would watch how much he consumes. I know JD, I know...keep my mouth shut.....
