So DH gave a partial fur shot last night. He got some of the dose, but not all of it. We have a vet appointment today to recheck blood and urinalysis at 4pm. He seems a little mopey today, but that is probably due to his higher than normal numbers today.

Just got home with Oscar from the vet. Everything has to be sent out to a lab, so we won't know anything until Thursday probably. They checked his glucose (guess they didn't believe me lol) and looked at me incredulously about it being 267. I said it was in the 100s yesterday and this is the precise reason I am bringing him in! I mentioned that his anal sacs looked full, so asked for them to express them for me. Afterward the vet commented that they were quite full in fact. He looks to be in good spirits and quite alert now that we are home. Maybe the full anal sacs were causing him discomfort? They were last expressed in December of last year and was noted that they were quite full then too..... maybe my boy has issues in that dept lol.

+4 tonight is 166. He looks like he is feeling much better.
