Dosing question: 10/19 Chigga pmps~45, amps~214

Holy burrito ya'll! It was an interesting night! And I am tired today! Work is going to be fun!!

I shot her at ~45 with a dose decrease of 1.25 then realized (because of that awesome post that was provided to me the other day) I should have waited til she was in the 50's to shoot ohmygod_smile - had a bit of a panic though she was acting just fine but I wanted to be sure and make sure her numbers went up and eventually were not effected by the food spike. So I'm guessing I keep her at the new dose decrease of 1.25? All of her P's are in place and she was quite the cuddle bug this morning! Things seem to be looking good! I'm guessing the jump in her AMPS this morning was because of all the really low numbers last night and her glucose doing a little dumping action on it's own.

What do you guys think? re: the dose decrease and the jump in her AMPS? confused_cat

Looks like a bounce to me...hopefully it won't last long....you do have that link to Libby's post, right?

I do have Libby's post and that's what really helped me last night - even though I shot her at a 45 but from now on I know and am so grateful. Also all of the hypo info I had right by my side just so I knew what to look for and what to do and how to feed her to get her in a good place - so again, if it wasn't for you guys I would be more of a hot mess then I was last night for those few frightening hours so thank you, thank you, thank you!

I definitely agree with the dose reduction. :smile: I think the higher AMPS today was a bounce from the low numbers, probably combined with some leftover highs from the dry food. Hopefully she came right back down (but not too far) today.
