10/24 Tori's Hospital Update

Hi everybody. Sorry I am so late in the day with this update but I really didn't have anything to tell you. I think I mentioned yesterday that I really don't like the vet who was on today for the practice. This is one of the reasons. I didn't hear from him about Tori until just about an hour ago. He may be considered a good vet by a lot of people but as far as I am concerned his people skills suck. Anyway enough of that.

I 'm so glad to say that Tori is doing a lot better. Apparently she is eating really well and looks a lot better. The vet wanted to keep her today again to keep her on the IV which makes sense and keep her on all the meds she's getting. So tomorrow if all goes well she will be coming home tomorrow. He didn't mention how her sugars were and I didn't think to ask. My brain kind of stopped at the she's eating well on her on part and the statement "SHe's OK now until the next time. I think you have some decisions to make."

So after I take Ayanna to Day Care in the morning I'll be at the vets to see my baby and hopefully bring her home. The boys have seemed totally lost without her all day. Neither one of them have let me out of their sight. Ayanna is kind of lost too. She keeps asking when her kitty can come home from the doctor's.

So please continue to keep my baby in your thoughts and prayers. It helps so much. I'll post again in the morning I promise.

oh barb, i've had houseguests all weekend and haven't been around, but you and tori haven't left my thoughts.

Oh, my I haven't been on here for a couple of days and missed any post about Tori being hospitalized. I'll have to back track and see what happened.

But, am glad to see she's eating and doing okay and hopefully will be home soon. Hope she continues to feel well and does okay.

Today is Monday....she is coming home!!! Yay!!!! :mrgreen: I can't wait till she is back with you...I am not crazy about the attitude of those people there...no wonder she isn't all sweet with them...

Barb so glad Tori is coming home today and that she is doing so well. Sorry that the clinic staff don't have a better was with working with people but they sure had a good way in healing Tori. Healing light for Tori to continue on the wellness path. I know your household will rejoice and breathe a sigh of relief when you bring her through the door today. :YMHUG:
