10/25 Kim's Shadow amps 82, pmps 96

Good Morning LL

Shadow is basking in the sun. She's eaten well, as always, 3/5 P's. needs a good brushing so I guess I'll be doing her preening.

Last night's fur shot - gave her injection, I check her coat for a wet spot and then sniff my fingers. So I turn around to the hubz and ask him to smell my fingers (sounds like the start of a dirty joke, doesn't it?) and ask him if there is a band-aid smell. Yes, there is. Probably coming from that bandaid on your finger. @-)

Kim....I've been reading Shadow's ss and learned that a cat can have some really low and flat numbers on a fairly high dose. It really hadn't dawned on me that these types of numbers could be achieved w/1-2 units of insulin. I became less discouraged about Curry's dose increase after her move....I felt that we had lost some momentum, but now I realize that perhaps we really hadn't.

So thanks Shadow for being such a good role model for Curry.

I really feel the variations in Shadow's BG are due to inconsistenty drawing up 1.75u. Man, that is tough. I don't know how people do it when they get below 1u.
