Re: 10/26 Kazi AMPS: 70

I think that is best....is there a way you can take her in today? Not eating is serious and the sooner she can be seen, the better for her. Sending healing vines to Kazi and tons of snowflakes for her to feel better.
How is she acting? LB action? Is she grooming and purring?
That 70 is her +12 if you didn't shoot, right?

Here is your link to yesterday...it didn't quite work in your post... viewtopic.php?f=9&t=28289

I hope kazi gets her appy back soon .. hoping the vet can figure out whats going on with her ...

Re: 10/26 Kazi AMPS: 70

I agree with Pat - if there's a way you can get Kazi in to the vet today I suspect you will worry less. Have you tried to entice Kazi with baby food? Rotisserie chicken?

Re: 10/26 Kazi AMPS: 70

I see on your SS that you are giving ABs...what is that for Amanda? I am wondering if that is causing the problem with her appetite.
Are you giving Fortiflora to her a few hours after the ABs? The probiotic is important when the ABs are at work. I order mine from Amazon. Sprinkled on top of the food, it sometimes is a good enticement for the m to eat too.

Do you have a plastic syringe that you might help her to eat a little? If you use baby food as Sienne said and water it down, or her LC food with water, maybe she will accept the food that way. It dose take patience and a lot of time, but at least she will be getting something in her stomach....

Re: 10/26 Kazi AMBG: 70

She is eating a bit if I mix the HC in- usually 1/3-1/2 a can or so. So she is getting SOME food in her tummy. Last night she seemed more interested in it, but this morning back to barely any. I was putting her AB in a piece of boiled chicken but she bit into her AB one day and not so interested in it anymore. She will eat her kitty treats though.

I work all day today and am off tomorrow so I made an appointment for tomorrow morning. She is otherwise acting fairly normal...not really playing but is moving around the house.

She is on AB because her BG went high for no apparent reason. Her temp was normal, and at the time she was eating fairly well. The vet ran bloodwork and it came back with increased lymphocytes (??) showing inflamation somewhere. She also came back slightly anemic. She ate that night, and ate nothing the next morning. By that night her BG was back to normal--- she ate that evening and the next morning fairly well. Past that she hasn't eaten well for me since.

Just don't know what is going on with her. Will update you all tomorrow after our appointment when I hopefully know more.

She ate her dinner tonight! :-D I needed to go back in and get her started again a few times but she ate in a normal amount of time and only needed a sprinkle of chicken dust to finish the last bit. I hope tomorrow is more of the same.

HOORAY FOR EATING!! I change the flavors of FF a lot as mine get bored real easy--Also, the pill pockets really really work-I used them recently for my civvie & he ate em all up even with the ab in it!! Good girl Kazi!
