Hi everybody I didn't get a chance to get anywhere near a computer yesterday. Here is Thursday's Post: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=28524
Well little Missy Kitty continues to improve with each passing day. I guess she just never got over the first pancreatitis attack she had back at the beginning of the month and that is why she relapsed. Anyway she's on the mend. I have been continuing with our treatment plan of the Pepcid, Metacopramide twice a day , the Buperenex q8h , the 100cc squids and Prednisolone 5mg daily and the Mitrazepine q 2days. It's definitely working. She's been eating much better and has been actually playing! I plan to leave things as they are til the weekend is over and then start to cut back a bit. I got to be very careful though. No more relapses for this little lady. Not if I can help it.
Not only do I want her feeling healthy I want to be able to start her back on her chemo as soon as possible. Doug was saying that he wanted to wait two weeks before we start it up again. I don't want that nasty lymphoma coming back with a vengence. As Doug was saying we're walking a bit of a tight rope here. We have to balance treatment for the three conditions carefully. Right now we;re looking at Tori as a kitty with pancreatitis and diabetes who just happens to have a lymphoma. Hopefully soon we'll be looking at her as a Diabetic kitty with a Lymphoma who gets CP flares. Does that make sense?
So tomorrow is Halloween and Tori is really looking forward to the party tomorrow night. She hasn't decided what she's going to be yet. When she was little we had a black cape that she used to wear every year. We called her Countess Catula. She loved that cape and loved to play in it. It got all stretched out of shape though so it became a hazard. Anyway she's working on it. She wants her outfit to be stunning, She always was a bit of a diva. She's really looking forward to seeing all her friends. It's been a while since she felt like partying.
I hope everybody is having a good Caturday.
