Soooo, it seems when you go to the bean ER at 2am doubled over from side pain and looking for pain meds, people seem to give you dirty looks. When I was getting ready last night to give Podo her +4 test, I went to the bathroom and doubled over in pain. Went to the ER, afraid that it was my apendix, but hoping I was just "backed up". Turns out my apendix is fine, but I had a kidney stone "on the move". Now I wake up this morning late and Podo is too low to shoot. So, I fed her some medium carb food and she is not up to 130 yet, so I gave her a "wimpy shot". While I'm on pain meds, I just can't trust myself to be getting hourly test incase she heads for hypo-ville. Lets hope for a quiet day.

Sending healing vines to you, Brian. I've heard that kidney stones are very, very painful. I hope you're better soon.

omg Brian - i hope you feel better soon. I too have heard how painful that can be - top of the pain chain. I think you made the right choice as far as Podo is concerned - she will get back on track soon enough.

oh, brian...that is terrible! hoping you feel better quickly...kidney stones are so horribly painful!

I'm actually happy to see a number ~230 tonight, now in a couple hours I can get her +4 and take the "happy pills" that will knock me out for the night.
