Morning everybody. Well not a bad start to the day here. Under the Renal Threshold and Hopefully she'll see some blue or even green today. A good breakfast has been taken, much affection shown to MOm and her beloved Mousie and now a bath is being enjoyed. What more could a kittie ask for? All that's lacking now is her morning nap which I'm sure is soon to come.

That's where I'm headed pretty quickly here. It was a very long night at work and I'm really tired. Sometimes I think I'm getting way too old to work full time night shift. Anyway have a good day everyone. Will check in later after my nap.

Re: 11/12 Tori AMPS 241

Sunshiny yellow for sweet Tori today, eh? I hope you had a good rest Barb...that midnight shift is a killer....
Hope you have a good evening and that you and Tori can relax together... :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

A pretty good day numbers wise here. She actually saw blue today. She'll probably go back up again tonight due to the Pred but what can you do? She needs that for the Pancreatitis and the Lymphoma so if it means higher sugars it's a fair trade off I guess. Last night at +6 she was at 292 after being at 239 at shot time. Hopefully we might even see some greens tomorrow. We're working on finding the right dose again. We'll get there.

WCR- She's had a real good day. No side effects affecting the 5 Ps from her chemo on Wednesday. You'd never know she was getting chemo by looking at her apart from all the patches where she's had hair shaved for IVs and blood draws. He fur isn't growing back as fast as it used to. SHe still has peach fuzz on her tummy from the ultrasound she had in the summer. It's finally starting to fill in more. Such a smoochable tummy. She really amazes me. I know I keep saying it but she does. She has such an incredible spirit and is so strong for being a little girl.

-I have spent a lot of the day with my magic bag draped around my neck. It's still so darn sore and stiff. I have a week off now so I'm hoping that with no one pulling on it that it will settle down. My poor patients. A lot of them just don't realize what they're doing when they grab onto you. Not their fault but they can be rough on their nurses.

Anyway I hope everybody has a good night. Now to check up on you and your kitties.

Hope you can take some time this week to take care of YOU. Its important to recharge those batteries especially when your entire day is spent taking care of others.

Tori is truly amazing w/all her medical problems. She's just a champ.

Keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers.
