All is well in CurryLand.

Bought some Merrick BG chicken yesterday and gave it to her this morning. She's only eaten 1/2 of her breakfast....doesn't seem hungry at all now. Dropping glucose usually inspires an increase in appetite, but the glucose was a bit slow to come down.

Morning Tena - that 106 is the highest number she's had in several days, isn't that delicious?

did it ever get cold there? it is dropping into low 40's overnight, 60's days - yummy.

Shadow didn't go for the Merrick and I tried several different ones. The consistency is so different. I can't feed all mine different stuff, I can't keep up and FF is the only one they all agree on. How is Sid's progress to wet food going?

I suspect Curry will have those blue preshots for awhile...every now and again. I usually try and review what transpired the previous month to get a global picture....but last month at this time we were increasing her insulin after that dramatic decrease when we moved...so things were a bit screwy...Looked at what was going on 2 months ago....Very different story today....I'm a happy bean. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I added some FF LC to the Merrick and she ate it at +2.5........Ummmm....the FF has a liver taste to it which they seem to enjoy ( i think its yucky and yes i've tasted it). We had some quality play time w/the cubes and fishing toy which prob. brought her numbers down to 61 at + 4.....When I've done that...it doesn't seem to "stick"...but we haven't played at +3 for a long while.

I'm slowly getting Sid to eat the wet....didn't want to upset her GI system....She didn't like the Merrick too much.....So next week I'm giving her the FF 2% first...then a little of her kibble.....will slowly add more wet and less dry.....And will continue to mix the FF w/the Merrick...both are 2%.....However, its so much easier to just put food down and know that they will eat it...w/o doing this food dance.

It was chilly this morning.....Went to do laundry in my shorts and t-shirt.....it was nippy.....brrrrrrr.

Just chores today....and go to the gym.

Love the pic! Way too cute - and it so reminded me of Mannie. It is his favorite past-time: napping with his nanners. at least yours is still yellow. :lol: :lol:

The Merrick was not well received today. Curry ate a little this morning and then said NO.

Sidney would stare at the food and then look at me.....Like.....Mom...You are trying to transition me to the wet stuff....Ya gotta help me out here.....This Merrick is bland.....Yuck. Gave her the FF 2% and she gobbled it up.

Ummmm.

So I'm now the proud owner of lots of uneaten EVO and a few cans of the Merrick BG.....both seem similar in smell but the Merrick is a little less dense. I guess I could add a little of the food to the FF, but they both seem to "smell" it out.

What a beautiful picture of Curry! Nice numbers too, Tena. Cats and the food...they sure know how to drive us crazy with it, don't they? One of my civies will eat something a few times, then turn up her nose the next time. Sometimes if I just wait for a week or two and offer it again, she'll eat it...other times, she won't. :roll: The other two eat anything and everything in sight, so I'm thankful for that. I would take the EVO back if they won't eat it.

take it back. they'll let you swap it for FF. my cats didn't go for Merrick a bit but there's lots of kitties that love it.
