12/19 Maverick - AMPS 104 PMPS 83

No thread yesterday. I was gone from 6AM to 10PM yesterday. My husband did the PM shot last night and I wonder if he did a fur shot. Its such a tiny amount and he's only done one other shot before. I was really surprised by the blue number.

I have one test strip left. I was really hoping the US shipment of 200 strips would have been in, now I have to go buy full priced strips when the pharmacy opens darnit.

I've had his ledge blocked off for a month (hole cut in wall at entry way with ramp leading to a window in the basement tv room (high ranch bungalow)... with his favourite cardboard box, thats cut down on all the edges. He overlooks all the activity in the tv room and is directly above my husbands computer desk. He looks happy that he figured out how to get there. I'm going to have to be more creative in blocking that. He is just too stubborn to come out for testing and I have to scare him out with a broom or paper towel tube.

And he hardly ate a thing last night for some reason.

well at least he was occupying himself while yu were gone.lol. always good to have a emergency supply just in case your shipment is late. and make like yu dont have it cept for those ER times.hopin they arrive soon.still a nice amps number

Thanks Girlcat - I was late reading your reply about the 8 units of R. I can only imagine how scary that was for you and others following along! nailbite_smile I'm so glad everything was okay. Thank you for sharing - I do know mistakes happen and this group is so supportive when they do.

They love those cubby holes don't they? Gracie always loves to sleep behind the daybed but I blocked it when we got Tobey because I didn't want a kitten getting his head stuck somewhere back there and now I've left it that way so I don't have to dig Gracie out to test. I hate doing that....but it would be more stressful for her if I needed to get her out. So....sometimes we just gotta make them a tiny bit unhappy to do what's best

I found out that he is a MUCH MUCH more sociable kitty with that cubby hole blocked off. I love seeing him in the tv room lying on his catnip mat or beside me on the couch. He has really bad arthritis in his back end so he couldn't get up in the window anymore. A hole in our wall is a small sacrifice. We have baby stairs in the tv room, bedroom and step stools for him to use.

Also an update on the spreadsheet - Laurie thanks for pointing this out. That was an error. It seems when I typed .5 - it auto filled an F beside it. That wasn't correct. I've updated it. We are only giving him .5u. Off to get more test strips. I will be ordering the ones off ebay also today.

I'd love to be able to get those walmart cubes up here - I wonder if Maverick would use them.

PMPS 83 :mrgreen: I have 100 new strips - couldn't buy them in 50s.
