Ok so #s are looking better-well better than 400 that is. Fed Fancy Feast Savory Salmon last night a few times then this morning and then left Fancy Feast Chopped Grill (classic). Added his b12 & proenzyme. Poop/peeing is fine. Was hacking at +11.5 but never threw up- I tested =294. about +10 was scratching his ears like crazy. Not really sure what is going on there. Did pick up some Merricks -3 different flavors- to try- all off Binky's list- LC- won't try these until his numbers are more consistent. Soon I will try the Wellness that was recommended with the turkey/salmon as well.

Thoughts: I'm expecting his BG#s to come down once on LC food- I'm guessing but it shouldn't take but a few days so by the weekend his BG#s should be down bouncing around 80-200s. Then I can reduce the insulin - I would think.

Ok I checked out the pre-mix- is most of it a beef base mix? if so I can't use it- Khan just goes wacko on beef- allergic to it- scratches like he is going crazy and then ends up half bald! ha! The chicken is out of stock right now. I was sent a discount for Addiction and read a review on a cat that had allergys and was fed: Addiction NZ Brushtail & Vegetables. Have you heard anything about this food? I thought $45 for 90 days of food is not that bad at all for the Pre-mix you recommended.

My buddy binks-- what flavors in the friskies has worked for you? I'll try it as well. My budget is going to get tighter YET in January so I have to become really creative.

Just got rid of the "bad boyfriend"- yipeEEEE!! and reduced my mortage but still so no more extra cash for my mortgage but I'm all for the better - WAY MUCH BETTER for it. sucks rt now but this too shall pass. I'm too old to waste time on that type of behavior from one person. GEEZZZZ the world is full of great people.

I don't feed beef, either. Gabby pukes from beef. I add the pre-mix to chicken that I grind myself. I buy the pre-mix that has no liver and I add chicken liver (that goes into the grinder, as well). The only beef that's in the Feline Futures (TCFeline) is if you buy the variety of pre-mix that already has beef liver added. There's a variety that has chicken liver added, as well.

There's info on the website (go to the section on the right side under the Featured Resources section labeled, "RawMeat Cat Food Company" and that will take you to the location for more info on the pre-mix. Also, the on-line store button on that menu isn't working at the moment. I think you have the link to the store that I sent since you have the price. (They've changed the website and it's clearly glitchy.)

Jenee -- with all of the scratching that Khan is doing, could he have an allergy to fish products? You seem to feed a fair amount of fish. You might want to try eliminating the fish for a week or two and see what happens. Alternatively, you may want to try a novel protein. Duck, venison, or rabbit may work if he has food allergies. I think EVO has duck and venison varieties. Some cats will do well with lamb, but you'd probably have to grind that yourself.
