Tess’s PS is 153. I think it ‘s safe to shoot Agree? She’s eating now.
Another eventful day and night.

Yesterday’s condo viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3226&p=31393#p31393

I had to dig Tess out of the back of the closet for the +11. The storm that blew in this morning had thunder and lightning, not very common here. Iactually miss them, Tess disagrees. Could have helped to bost the +11 to 155.

The vets office called and left a message yesterday, no infection. Didn’t give me ketone results, but I know they were going to check. I’ll call this morning, it was too late yesterday.

Re: 1/20 Tess AMPS 153

Gave her the shot. She inhaled the half can of FF. Seems to like that better than most of the others.

Seemed like normal pee and poop, in spite of having donated some at the vet.

I don't want to do as many tests today, Tess needs a break. I'll go for +2 test and feed, test at at +6 and +9. Snack mid cycle if she eats everything.
Incase the power goes out again, the winds are really strong and the surf is over 25 feet.
Anything I forgot to report on?

Good morning Ann!

What a day you had yesterday, but you handled it like a pro.
And look at the beautiful numbers you're getting from the Lantus already! :thumbup

Hope you & Tess have a peaceful day with a nice, happy surf.

Re: Fed too soon?1/20 Tess PMPS 169

Did I blow it? The PMPS was 169 the same as +9, but I fed her not thinking it through. Can I shoot?

BUMP EYES PLEASE

add "SHOOT?? " to ur first post subject line...I hope u wont be too late too shoot when u hear from someone

hang on!

if you're able to monitor and have hc to pull numbers up (not saying you'll need to), go ahead and shoot.
get a +1 and +2 to get an idea where she's headed...

Beautiful blue day yesterday. When did you feed in relation to PMPS? Immediately before? If so, the food probably didn't have enough time to high the bloodstream.

If I'm understanding, when you fed is fine. Most of us test, feed, then shoot. I shoot while Gabby is eating. The only issue with food is to pick up any food 2 hrs prior to AM/PMPS so your test doesn't reflect a food spike.

+2 is 168. Tess is grazing. She seems to have calmed down after all the nasty weather today.

Thanks Sienne, I was worried because I hadn't made sure that the BG was rising. Still getting used to this.

I'll test again at +4 or +5.

+5 is 172, everything seems to be going well. Gave Tess a little tuna snack, and put out some frozen chicken breast to nosh on overnight.

Goodnight.
