1/15 Maggie +3 98; +6 119; +8 144; PMPS 148

Guess what! Maggie pie finally hit a 96 bg, and this was after a couple small mini meals after the +6 bg check. She's doing great with all P's - no lb action yet but usually this happens later in the day after her Bean has cleaned the box. Her ear seems better, and now I'm finding I can prick her ear more easily just with the BD Lancet itself. Someone here recommended these lancets. I will be around more this weekend to visit condos and catch up with all the juice.

On an off topic, some good and bad news. What I thought was tendonitis has been diagnosed as cervical stenosis of the neck :YMSIGH: after an MRI had been done, and then a call from my Rheumatologist yesterday. I guess we feel pain in other areas other than the source of the problem, or referred pain. So I am to see a Neurologist for further treatment. So the good news is we know what it is and can go from there. :smile:

Edit - I'll be around...I did shoot. I was going back and forth wondering whether to shoot, as she's never been this low since returing from her Honeymoon, but I did shoot .50.

No advise on dosing either... but wanted to say good morning! Am glad you have a diagnosis for your pain issues... that is often half the battle! I hope you can relief soon!

referred pain is severe pain...but sounds like you've pinpointed the problem...so wishing you the best of healing!

I learned about referred pain recently. I think I posted on facets in the neck and how it can cause shoulder pain/back pain. I'm going to be seeing a head/neck specialist for a formal diagnosis. My evil evil migraines are caused by muscles at the top of my neck/base of my skull. Sending hugs. I hope you get some relief now that you have a formal diagnosis.

Thanks everyone for all of your good wishes and comments. The 144 at +8 is a food spike. I had hoped to see a steady streak of greens, but 144 is still nice! She seemed so hungry today. I'm experimenting with smaller meals today, but she seems to keep coming back with that face that says "is that all"???? Makes me feel stingy! :roll: Hope everyone is having a nice weekend and keeping warm.

Do Lou is so food oriented some days makes mini meals really hard a lot many days I just give up with him since he acts like he is starving hope its helps with Maggies numbers which are looking very nice today

What a nice day for Maggie - look at all those greens. Even with the +8 it's still nice. Good luck with the mini meals - after a while they get used to the smaller portions. Mannie finally did. Every now and then he too gives me that "is that all there is' look.

Wow on your neck - I think it is good though that you now know what you are dealing with. I hope it works out ok for you.

Well, the PMPS is also a food spike. I just gave very little but gave in to the begger face! I bought the two dish Pet Safe feeder, but the one side is broke as the lid is stuck, so I've got my receipt and will take it back and get another.
