dian and wheezer

Very Active Member
short and sweet, I hope
wheezer, no change. sweet as ever but still cannot get him to co-operate. we shoot from .05 to .2u depending on if bounce or not
mr Beasley
He is as sweet as ever. continues to follow me around like a puppy dog. If I go upstairs to nap, he finds me and lays on me. BG still not where I would like them. do not understand what he is doing at times.have him on 1u but not sure if I should increase a little or not. I never know if his higher # is a bounce or if he got into something. he is such a slim guy now. has gone from 18# 12.4 oz to 12# 3.2 oz. I am so thrilled. he is such a happy cat and he lives for food. he can be upstairs and if he hears the fridge open, he is there in a heart beat.
Twinkie
ahhhh my little twink. he is still very shy and likes to be by himself. the prozac is working wonders with him. no more leg licking. he made my day yesterday. around 7:10AM (day off and I slept in and they get snack at 7:30), I hear this little squeeky meow. thought it was beasley. then a jump on the bed and an in your face squeeky meow. to my surprise I opened up my eyes and it was twink. That is the first time I have heard him meow since I have had him, his weight loss has been less 12# 9.8 oz to 11# 0.2oz but he really does not need to loose. he seems happier and certainly has his favorite spots to hide.
since he was treated with depo shots, (with no long term success) as a last resort before I insisted on prozac, he has been on 1u of insulin. I am very disappointed in this cause I did have him down to .1u at one time.
they are both such good cats. have never gotten into anything unless you count crawling into the fridge. always have to check before you close the doors but we have a big commercial fridge.
my 2 wishes for these guys are
1) they get a forever home
2) they get broken
well, that is this months update

Hi Dian :-D It's been a long time since I've seen Wheezer. Maybe a picture, would be really nice of the boy

That's great that you got Beasley to loose 6 1/2 pounds. I guess he can stop loosing now, huh? Now, I know why he's so food obsessed  he's been dieting. I guess he has to stay on the diet to stay svelt, though.

I didn't hear J.D. meow until he was like 6 years old, and it's a very rare thing now.
If Twinkie jumped up on my bed and meowed in my face for the first time ever, I might think the house was on fire or he was trying to warn me of some imminent danger or something.

I'm glad all the boys are happy, I hope you doing well, yourself.

Do Beasley and Twinkie still hang out together..like that wonderful picture in your avatar?

Thanks for the update. Have a Great Evening!
And, I hope your wishes come true :-D

Love hearing about the Wheezer. He sure is steady in his unsteadiness. But that is a tiny bit of juice he's using, so that's good, yes?
And the boys... the photo in your avatar has to be one of my all time favorites. :-D

thanks guys,
yep dyana, he has been to weight loss camp. he looks ok at this weight but a little more would not hurt. too lazy too look for pic today of the wheez.
they still huddle together and love giving each other a bath

cd, small amount but the boy is difficult. mind of his own for sure.
I just love to see them hugging each other but it does make me sad at times

I just love those boys, all three of them. Wheezer because he is such an individual (even though I'm sure it drives you crazy), and Beasley and Twinkie because they just sounds so wonderful. I have always wished I could adopt them, but circumstances don't allow it. I'm glad they are so happy with you. LOL at crawling into the fridge!

FWIW, I think Beasley's dose looks fine. I wouldn't increase without some spot checks because he is getting some green. All blue/green is nice.

Nice report, Dian! Glad you stopped in to give us one today! Boys sound like they are doing great. Weight loss and squeekie meows. LOL on this being the first time you've heard twinkletoes meow...only a matter of time that he begins full time.
