1/20 Maggie PMPS 106; +1.5 125

Morning! Not too bad of an AMPS today with all things considered yesterday. I was gone the latter part of the afternoon and just got home in time to take Maggie's bg and shoot. I had these progressive lenses and just could not adapt - I felt like I was going to trip walking, so they gave me a deal with long distance lenses and also reading glasses. I was happy with the break my doctor gave me as progressive are very pricey. Maggie's doing great in all areas, except lb but probably later in the day. I didn't get any pm checks as I was giving her a break on her ear, and also I'm running low on Alpha Trak strips - placed an order with Amazon - supplier gives me free shipping. I guess I could have done some checks using my Relion just to have some fun with Pat! :lol: Maggie's bean was exhausted, too, as another excuse! :sad:

Awesome news on the long distance lenses and also reading glasses, I hope they work out realy nicely for you!

Glad you got some new glasses and the Dr. gave you a break. Glasses themselves are so expensive - at least up in Canada.

Maggie is starting the day with an awesome number!!!! You go girl!

Maggie is doing great!! I have Progressive glasses too, and they are hard to adjust to--Cant look out sideways in them, you need to turn your head when you look sideways.
Mostly they are fine once you adjust--If you cant, take them back, & have rx fixed--Takes some time though--Good luck!
I use distance contacts & reading glasses when I need them--

Hi Karrie - It was the awesome artwork of CD and Mac, I believe, when Maggie was first going OTJ, and we had a party. I didn't even have a digital camera and used a one time digital camera. I had to get some pics ready in a hurry as I was taking a trip back east to visit family and Maggie's party was coming up. CD and Mac and D & Noisy both helped me. Here is her OTJ party video.

Awww I loved her video! Thanks for sharing. The OTJ are so well done and inspiring. I've loved every one of them.

Thank you Karrie. I really love her avatar, too. I love everyone of the videos, too. We need to get some more kitties OTJ so we can all party again!

what fun to watch Maggie's video again. no doubt she'll be back at the falls soon. she's doing great. Maggie - you have a great cycle tonight, OK?

Good luck with the glasses. I tried those once and never could really adjust to them - they drove me crazy. so back to the old....

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that couldn't adjust to them. The girls in the Optical Division couldn't understand why I could not adapt to the progressive lenses. Maggie is holding her own today. Soon I have to disturb her to do a bg, but she's always so good about it.

PMPS 106 - a surprise as she is usually higher the end of the day and I'm comfortable giving her the half unit. I'd like her to be a littly higher at the end of the day. Maggie didn't graze as much this afternoon. I guess it was all the good food last night at Camp Stu.

What a very nice day for Maggie....who is definitely gorgeous!!

I wear contacts...monovision but my glasses are progressive. I couldn't deal with the bifocals :lol: :lol:
