1/23 Simon PMPS 98; +4 71

Good morning! Yesterday, I did a curve throughout the day and Simon stayed pretty much in the low blues and greens. I am very happy with how he is doing and hoping he continues liking this s. 25 dose. I wish I could do a few more tests during the middle of the night, but I have terrible insomnia so if I wake up to test him, there is no way I will ever go back to sleep. Maybe one of these days when I don't have anything important to do the next day. Now that I'm feeding him at +8 in the middle of the night with the automatic feeder, his AMPS are much better.

Simon was such a good boy yesterday with all his ear pokes. He never seems to mind and just lies right down when he knows it is time for his test. My civvie, Cleo always likes when Simon gets poked because she gets a treat too!

Looking good again Simon!!! I hate insomnia - I suffered from full out insomnia for a year and haven't recovered my energy and its been two years. Spot checks sure wouldn't help at all. The drooler loves Maverick's shot times too :mrgreen:

You must be so happy thinking about how well Simon is doing - just the best numbers all around. One of the civvies here always comes to when I test Mannie. She sits and watches him, occasionally licks his forehead. Cutest thing I ever saw. She either really likes him, or she too is just waiting for the treats. It;s so ncie that Simon doesn't mind the testing. What a sweetie!

Is Simon getting a snack at AM +8? If not, I'd add it in to see if you can bring his PMPS numbers down a little.

Sienne, I just started giving him a snack at +9, starting 2 days ago in hopes that his PMPS will go a little lower. I am already giving him a little food at +6. Should I not give him food at +6 and give him it at +8 instead?
