I know what you mean about the 20 min extra sleep. I could have used it too! At least CK didn't come by until 7. Small favors...

Nice AMPS for Maverick. When you were going to bed, I was getting up but then went btd for an hour. I just have intermittent sleep. I think Maverick is going to have a good day.

This surprised me. I wasn't even doing +4 tests. He's never low and I thought his nadir changed ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile So I guess I'm going to get in some more +3s and 4s and 5s and 6s.

Guess I'm not increasing his dose. I'll wait for more data. I've really really really slacked off on testing.

Wow, it is great that you were able to test and catch that number. Good luck and I hope Maverick gives you some nice surfing today in the greens.

Thanks guys. Just tested him at +4.8 and he was 58. Glad to see the insulin dose is working. I was really debating about increasing it after the +5 last night. Wonder if it was working all along and this is the reason for his amazing post AMPS/PMPS appetite.

WOW I'm telling you, this is the dose!!! He's doing amazing--Great catch & yes you should do more early tests, as Moonie has an early nadir as well--

Looking great Maverick :mrgreen: Hi Karrie and yeah I have about 3-4 migraines a week now 3 is average I was having them every day all the time it was terrible this was 2006/7 when I was off work for 7 months then my Dr got me down to about 5 a week then and less severe and my other leave was for feeding kittens so now that I look back on my 3 x being off only one was head related but I had to take my work sch down from 4 days all the way to one due to constant pain or I would miss and even then have the time it would hit on my one day sad :sad: its been a long 10 yrs since they have been really bad since 2001 its something I have learned to live with but its sure wears you down. Not to mention the musical meds try this for 3-6 months it does nothing try another you get the pic..........I am lucky the animal clinic I work for is so flexible with me I was in charge of the lab for 15 yrs so I guess thats one reason

That was great you caught the +4. A couple times Maggie dipped low early in the cycle. Have a good afternoon. I'm just catching up on condos.

I'm going to be about an hour late on Maverick's shot tonight. Oh well. Visiting MIL in the hospital - she had surgery yesterday (precancer in her colon - don't have all the details). Doesn't sound like a fun surgery - she'll be there for five days or so. Be back at 9PM or so.

Hi Karrie,
So sorry to hear about your MIL and so nice you can visit with her. It sounds hopeful they caught it early. Positive thoughts and prayers for your MIL and family and you. Maverick will be fine. Keep us posted.
 
No idea how he's come up with these numbers today. I am assuming the shed is still draining. Did not expect a low PMPS.

He's in a mood to play today too - another mini play session in the cube. I'm loving it. He stays inside the cube the whole time - just arm waves really and sometimes gets his top half lying on the ouside of the cube waiting for the feather on the string to catch. He's actually joining me in the bedroom when I come in here and going into his cube.

His appetite is great again today. Fed him food when I left at +10 and he ate two ounces by +13 which is when I gave him the shot. 1 hour late.
 
Prayers for a quick recovery for your MIL.

Maverick is throwing some great numbers! Glad to see he is responding well to his current dose!

Hope you have a good night and are able to get some rest!
