Morning! I can't believe the flat cycle Maggie has been having the last two days. I guess that is good. All P's in place except lb, but that will come later after her box is all nice and clean! She cried for me to get up before the alarm went off at +6, so no alarm is necessary. She's been starving all morning, so this AMPS isn't even quite two hours with no food! I really think she needs a companion. She only snuggles for 10 minutes at night and then goes into the living room and sleeps on the foot stool of my Lazy Boy chair, so I have to keep the foot stool up for her all day and night. She doesn't want to miss any visits of Ricky the Raccoon and the ground mole that occasionally visits.

Good morning guys ... a flat cycle is generally a good thing .. well I know it is when its yellow cause it usually means blue .. maybe a flat blue means greens?? Anyways, hope you guys have a great day!

Re: 1/25 Maggie AMPS 117

Morning Ann & Maggie...nice AMPS for you. Raja said she can come over...those two always get along nicely...and that way, you won't have to have a full time companion....
Maybe they can both talk about getting themselves back to the Falls....how about it?

Re: 1/25 Maggie AMPS 117

Thanks PeterDevon and Mocha. That's what I'm a bit concerned about as I have an acupuncture appt., so will be gone after 9 an, but I still have time to get some checks in for her. When she acts so starved, I know she's getting low.

Hey, Pat great idea for Maggie to have a play date with Raja. She likes being Queen Bee and having me all to herself, so a visit from Raja would be just the thing she needs.

How old is Maggie? You have a ground mole visiting too HAHA. Lucky Maggie.

You should put in brackets maybe what the human reading is. Like 117(97) or 97(117) so people can see how awesome Maggie is doing. You are one of only a handful using the alphatrak.

Maggie is looking good! Glad her internal alarm clock is working so well ;)

Re: 1/25 Maggie AMPS 117

Hi Karrie,
Maggie is 11 years old. I think she was a little less than a year old when she adopted me, as I remember her as a kitten living with the other ferals in a ravine below me. At the time, I had a cat, so Maggie was used to having a friend up until two years ago! Maggie was so submissive to my cat, always brushing up against him, much to his annoyance! I guess I could use both meters. Someone here was saying the Relion reads a little lower than human meters. Was it Binks' Mom, Celi? That's right though as whenever I have a really nice blue number of the Alpha Trak, it's really a green on the human meters.

Re: 1/25 Maggie AMPS 117; +1.5 125

I have to leave in an hour, so I think Maggie will be okay. I will leave plenty of food for her. I should return by +5 or 6.
I will visit condos a little later. Take care.

  Binks and i keep offering a tortie solution...but you're just way too smart for us!!

it was us that had the really disparate readings between the relion and the nova max plus...but go figure...now they are reading within 10-20 points...
