01/27 Chaos PMPS 293, +3 198 we have BLUE!!

Good morning, happy Fursday everyone!

Chaos's +4 was 211 last night, so there's a chance he had some blue moments while I was asleep. It's possible, right? :razz:

WCR: had some little meows at the door this AM. He must've heard my alarm. Just a couple meows, though, like he's trying to be polite about it. Chaos and Civvie both were sitting outside the door waiting. Chaos was good for his test again, sitting still just like Mannie- lol!- and though the neosporin residue makes some of the fur near his ears look a bit spiky, it seems to be doing the trick for his lil swivelers. Breakfast was again consumed with gusto, and now he's lying on the floor trying to look glamorous while washing his paws and face. I'll be watching him for some kind of action today...fingers crossed.

Whole Bean Report: I'm losing my mind! :lol: I checked my BG meter for text messages and attempted to put a test strip in my cell phone! See photo.

Oh yeah... definitely one of those mornings!

Chaos is down to 214 at +3, which makes me kind of excited to see what his +6 is going to be. You all know what I'm looking for! This is his fourth day on 0.5u and it looks like maybe it's starting to bring the numbers down.

He played Mouse for a little while and when it was test time, no protest... he's such a good boy I can't believe it sometimes. I fed civie-Lu earlier and Chaos tried to bully him away from his food dish but it didn't work. He wouldn't make contact when he slapped at Lu. He was doing the old "I'm not touching yooooooo...!" thing and Lu was having none of it! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Moving the right way Chaos :mrgreen: , and I use his feet since its the only way I can hometest he hates his ears being touched since he has always had allergies and his ears have always bothered him off and on so when he was dx'd I tried at first when I found this board he was still on Novolin at this time well after 2 weeks of bruised ear no results cat running from me every time he saw me I gave up for 4 months and then when my vet let me put him on lantus I had read enough to know I had to hometest so not sure how I found the info its on the board somewhere and there is a you tube on paw testing I actually would prefer ear if her would let me just because i am always afraid of foot infection from the LB but so far he has done fine I use neosporin on his feet and check them daily

More yellow for Chaos... I'm going to have to write "The Flat Yellow Cat Blues" if this keeps up. And I will, be warned. ;-)

More good behavior from our intrepid White Boy today, though. He thoroughly enjoyed his Fancy Feast white turkey snack at +6 today...happy tails and talk for mama! I've been off cleaning the bedroom, hitting the store, etc., and Chaos has been napping, doing weird cat yoga and a lot of bathing today.... must be cat spa day or something.


Ah, Lisa...I worried about germs from the LB too, which is why I'm happy Chaos lets me do his ears. Poor DL with his allergies. :sad:

Hi Violet & Chaos, You might try the Neosporin creme with pain-killer. It isn't gooey like the ointment.
I guess you're having a flat yellow day, but that isn't all that bad. Some will say that it means blues and greens are on the way.
Love the picture of your meter and phone. Of course it would be easy to confuse them: they don't look that much different! (My DH once mailed his lunch instead of a letter!)

Evening! I hope all there had a great day. Chaos, those are mighty flat yellows there - I wonder if what they say is true. all those yellows means that blues and greens are on there way.

Isn't it great when they just sit there and let you test? Love it! Mannie will climb up on my lap, and wait.... and purr.... he makes it easy. i use neosporin on Mannie's ears too - it is a bit gooey, but that's OK - it does help alot with he ears, helps too with that ridge he gets from all those pokes.

Hey, maybe it is true what they say... for the first time in a while, we have blue.. barely blue at 198 but blue is blue, ya know? I'm hoping he didn't drop too fast, and of course I fed him after his +3. I think all that rumored action is finally on the way :mrgreen:

Very funny about switching the cell and the meter. Good thing the meters don't cost us what the cell phones do! (well, counting strips, maybe they do.) Any, nice numbers!
