If you're not rushing around in the AM, we try to give a "whole cat report" (WCR). Sprats is more than his numbers and hearing a bit about how he's doing lets us get to know a bit about him. People will refer to the 5 Ps (purring, pooping, peeing, preening, and playing) sometimes as a barometer of our cats' wellbeing. If you have a chance to visit other condos, you'll get a feel for what we post as a WCR.
Not a bad place for Sprats to start.

Is this somewhere separate, other than posts? So far, he is GREAT! He came and did his "Plop", he flopped down next to me and put his paws up to play :smile:

Hi Jenn, The Whole Cat Report is just something to add to your first post of the day in Sprat's "condo". It's not a separate thread. Good job this morning and a nice number. Keep up the good work!

At some point when you're around to monitor, could you not give Sprats the dry food? You're seeing a HUGE food spike after a meal. Sprats may be carb sensitive and feeding dry, especially the W/D (or even the M/D) may be inflating his numbers. It's very helpful to know how carb sensitive your cat is. Some cats do not need HC food to bump up their numbers if LC will do the trick.

He hasn't had dry food today. He had some rotisseree chicken (treat for when I poked him) and Friskies tuna and egg (about 1/4 can)

I ran out of strips and am in the middle of a blizzard... my husband went out to get some more - are they really $66? for 50? Yikes. It is the Freestyle Freedom Lite that came in my newbie kit.

if ya need to go cheaper, the walmart relion, either the micro or the one that starts with a c is very good,strips run around 20 something for 50 strips BUT then can only be gotten at walmart. same with the truetrak but is a little more expensive. a lot of us use this meter and find it very easy and accurate and fast and uses a small drop for sipping.
