Good Evening,
I'm home from work. Whiskers had a very nice PMPS of 233, considering the stress of the U hospital stay all day.
Everyone has been feed and medicated. I tried to get Whiskers to sit on the bed with me, but she is off in search of food (thankfully she still has a very good appetite), she always likes to check the other pets bowls, in case they missed something.
Now that we have been told the cancer has not yet spread, we wait for the results of the cortisone expression test, and we can hopefully begin to treat cushings, to lower the cortisone levels and strenghten her system. Once that happens we can determine if she could survive the removal of the tumor. The surgery is very, very costly and risky. The mortality rate is 30%. Diabetic/cushings cats are apparently very fragile, complication of surgery, internal bleeding and such. The IM Vet said if it were his cat, he would not put her thru the surgery, and instead focus on quality of life (but that means she will die, cancer, duh).....I am really, really relived it has not yet spread and thank everyone for their prayers, they have helped us today. I don't think Miss Witty and I could take more right now.......I would like to think we have a little breathing room, and she's seems ok to me right now....Does that make sense?
We continue to keep Claudia and Rocket, Ele and Blackie, Christie and Willie, and now Lisa and Do Lou in our prayers. o

. And am glad Perry's Sooty is doing well.
Has been a very long day. Nite nite.
