2/8 Kazi AMPS:80 PMPS:125

Will be out of the house all day today. I am hoping to get some good spot checks/mini curve sometime this weekend. I ordered test strips on the 28th and they were supposed to be here on the 1st. Have contacted the ebay seller but not heard back yet. In the meantime I went to Walmart and bought a Relion Confirm - I think it will be a good backup meter for us. I only had a few Freestyle strips left...but the comparison tests gave me very similar numbers. I don't like how the strips are fed in though...kind of a pain to get it lined up correctly!

Kazi is still doing great! It has taken her a month, but she is now being social and coming out into the main area of the house when the roomates and dogs are around. She spent 30 minutes playing with the roomates cat on Sunday. :smile:

Hi, nice AMPS for Kazi. I have really good service from Amazon; have not used EBay. I hope your strips come soon. A lot of them here like the Relion Confirm.

Kazi's SS is looking great! Any chance you get to grab a spot check, especially if you have a blue pre-shot, will help you see if Kazi's pancreas is bringing those numbers down a few hours after a meal. If you're not already feeding a snack at +8 or +9, you may want to consider it. At this point, those late snacks can turn those low blue pre-shots to green.

It is also good to hear Kazi is adjusting to the roommate's furry.

Sienne- I usually get home around 2hrs before her PMPS test, a little under 2.5 hours before her shot. Is that too close to give the snack and be able to tell how it is affecting her?

i use the confirm and like it....also have a nva max plus, but like the less expensive aspect of the relion!
